It was pretty fun. Nothing amazing or revolutionary, but it was pretty comfy.

I'm puzzled in what they're going to do in season two, though. Besides Jackal, there's not really any loose ends.

It's underrated around here.

I actually hope they go for a different approach that's more complex than a good vs evil war. While entertaining I find it quite tiresome; it'd be nice seeing Niko fighting some adversary he can't just purify and who is instead radically opposed to his views. I'm not asking for Shakespearean writing, I just want something a little deeper. This series could definitely pull it off.

>another child somehow saves the world

To be fair he's a magically engineered child with the experience of dozens of champions that preceded him.

The closest we got to that was Aura, and she was disposed of quickly. So, I hope they touch on stuff like that more.

I downloaded all the episodes, but keep forgetting to watch it.

I wish she'd had a couple of episodes devoted to her at least.

The show is too serial for that. Maybe 2 epsiodes tops.

Two episodes is all I would have asked.

Post lewd Lyras.

Better Avatar sequel than Korra

I always found that hilarious about him. He's supposed to be a large, brutish, stereotypical warrior, but in the body of the child. But, unlike his predecessors, he's more empathetic and has to approach things differently.

it has nice animation

Yes it does.

Best female Cred Forums protag in a long while.

Underrated waifu and a better fake ghost than that Mexican one.

this

Not enough lewds

it was okay

It's as pretty as it is dull.

When the "unexpected hero" is always some young kid with borderline annoying spunk, it's no longer unexpected. Just make the show about the girl next time. She's all anyone cares about.

When I saw the ad for it a while ago I couldn't help but feel it was ripping off other shows with the designs. Aang for the mc, Elsa/Dany from GoT for the girl, and the villain looked like Aku. Looked very generic.

I got so pissed at how little porn she has. She literally has an episode where she goes venom crazed. Where is my porn of her being a drug induced super slut fucking monsters?

The world is a dark and smutless place.

Decent enough. Felt very 80s Don Bluth. With how it wrapped up I wonder how they'll go with a season 2.

It's sad really.

Fun but underrated. Also they could've made the big bad a tad more interesting. Not to mention that the architecture the humans had in this show was akin to that from Age of Wonders.

I love the way he expresses himself. His vocabulary is large, that's for sure, but sometimes he doesn't know how to use it.

>and the villain looked like Aku

Glad I'm not the only one who saw the resemblance. His animations were fun.

Finale was lit. s5 samurai jack was put to shame by this to be honest

Why don't you give me some requests then.

Give me them refs bro. I haven't seen this yet I just like the character.

As I said in my original post, she gets bitten by a bug that infects her with a venom that makes her extremely energetic and ridiculously reckless. I was always hoping for smut of it making her really horny too. So recklessly smutty, and rapey in a world full of monsters, most of which are much bigger than her.

Here are some refs of her and the rat beast to go with the other guy's request.

Here's what I can find.

Go nuts.

it was better than SJ after that shitty ending, so that's saying something

Christ that thing's huge, maybe I don't need a reference

Yes
Better than Avatar

I'll probably post it here when it's done

Its dramatic moments surprised me at times; they actually got me to feel sad. I do wish everything had had a bit more of weight, but for the most part I enjoyed it greatly.

>just noticed I barely ever draw animals.

These legs is fucking me up bruh.

We believe in you user!

I honestly just hate the art style.

this

How could you?

This. Stopped watching because I couldn't stomach seeing any more of that disgusting rat creature.

go back to your calarts cartoons then

Quadrupeds are easy once you figured out how their anatomy works.

It was literally fucking Aang and Katara and they didn't even try to hide it. The show was kind of fun but so generic and unmemorable that I don't think I even remember any of the character's names.

>It was literally fucking Aang and Katara and they didn't even try to hide it.
There wasn't any sexual ship tension, so your statement is false.

I will wait excitedly.

What is this show and why does that image look like Mad Max meets Daenerys Stormborn from Game of Thrones?

Kill yourself, retard.

I'm just flabergasted that it took Lyra so many Champions to get the job done. Dozens, if not hundreds, of dead barbarian dudes and dudettes not even reaching the Cursed Volcano.

There wasn't any in Avatar either until they decided to hamfist it into the last 10 eps.

>that scene at the Pools of Destiny where Lyra was relieved that Niko hadn't changed

The great vocal performances made that bit insanely adorable.

For the most part I think they didn't receive any external help unlike Niko did. If I remember correctly, Niko and Lyra got a bunch of boosts from the creatures they helped as well as being directed to several shortcuts, and all of that goes back to the fact that unlike all the previous champions Niko was interested in helping whomever they encountered rather than just sticking to the main mission. The rest of champions probably had to navigate through a lot more of terrain, which implies that many more chances for death would have presented themselves.
Also, Lyra being a physical entity instead of a ghost who couldn't interact with the world around her also provided a lot of help. Not to mention, the inclusion of Flicker, a creature Niko purified instead of destroyed like the previous champions did.

All in all, it comes down to compassion.

What are you talking about? That shit was there since the beginning.

It was played off as an unrequited crush. The first time it was taken seriously was in the fortuneteller episode.

It's still typical head-bobbing Flash/Toonboom which I hate all canadians for doing that.

But hey at least it had some sort of charm. I like the girl, but she's that cliche "mature smart older sister" type that's been overused to death.

Well, it doesn't become "mutual" until the end of season 2, but Aang's infatuation with Katara is literally first episode shit, and shows up regularly.

Yes, it was pretty great.
You could see how the story arc was planned from the start, with good consistency, and there was no lose plotlines and holes all over.

Personally I found Nico annoying in the beginning, but slowly grew on me.

It's Titmouse Flash, where they use those 3D heads like in Motorcity.

Yo mack, what's your status on this?

I feel torn. I’m halfway in and while the animation and sense of adventure and creativity in the world building is really up there...

It also feels incredibly derivative, safe, and generic. A bit too many cliches, tropes, and conveniences. The pacing of the arcs seems rushed. And it doesn’t have the teeth that Avatar TLA had with the story and themes

Where are my drawings at??!
