I'm really hoping the Pendulum evolution structure in December is another Pendulum Magician deck. They need paladin fusions,xyz and another synchro like a 9 or 12, their own rank 7 or rank 4 and monsters that can change their types.

Japan seems not to be able to understand one thing : these are NOT Edo and Asuka from Yu-Gi-Oh GX. These are Edo and Asuka from the Fusion dimension of Arc V - their personalities aren't going to be exactly the same.
Edo and Asuka from GX are the ones from the Standard dimension (which by the time Arc V takes place, they're most likely dead).
Just like how the version of Crow and Jack we see aren't their 5D's counterparts - they're the Syncro dimension counterparts (in this version, they most likely don't even know who Yusei is).

They don't have to have the exact same personalities as they did in GX but fans of those characters do expect them to be treated well in Arc-V. Neither of them were treated well. You'd be right if it wasn't for the fact that Jack is still the Duel King and Crow is still a Commons who takes care of orphans, and that issue is tied in with the fact that Academia had nothing going on in Synchro. The fact that the only two characters to come back from FIFTY FUCKING EPISODES are Jack and Crow show that Synchro Arc was entirely filler, pandering solely to Ono's ego, and served absolutely no purpose or tie-in with the Xyz Arc. Out of all of Arc-V, Ono got:
