If you mean Fate/Extra (the game she debuted) then it's a PSP dungeon RPG.
It's a spin-off of the original F/SN series.

As to the familiarity with the Fate series...a tad bit; perhaps even a smidgen? I've seen Carnival Phantasm, read some of the manga when time allowed, attempted watching the anime and tried to play the April Fools game.

It seems like quite an interesting realm to read about, hence my interest in this game.

There's also the Fox Tail manga. It's about the game with her as the partner.

Watch Fate/Zero fagget. It's pretty good.

Get a "Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua" one way or another and don't forget to install the voice patch.
It's the best entry media you could read if you want to get into this universe.
There are three routes. The first one is a little boring, but the other two are really great.
After that you can read or watch Fate/Zero and you are good to go, to explore all the spin-offs.
If you want to play Fate/Extra on your PC, then download the game ISO and PPSSPP emulator.
It runs fine out of the box, but you may have some problems with the sound. To repair this, just play around with different options in the settings.
