Needless to say, I'm haven't been this hyped for a Pokemon game since Diamond and Pearl.

Greninja and Goodra were hyped up all for nothing. Talonflame and Noverin were hopeless while Pikachu and Hawlucha were the only ones who pulled their weight around.

I did to show how much the new games improved over X and Y, which in likely hood aged poorly in a short time.

Hell I can't even remember most of the locations and towns you visit in Kalos.

X/Y's poor world design was a common complaint right from the get-go. It's why people hoped for a Pokemon Z that would flesh out Kalos a bit.

So basically Sun and Moon was to answer and fix the problems that X/Y had.

X/Y was a beta test for Sun and Moon

I just hope the learned from their mistakes.
