DAL STRONG

Kimi no Na wa is unstoppable, 34k in 3 days for Re:Zero after the anime, this is not really great, good boost for Koe no Katachi.

In three years.

>*3. *34,309 *34,309 Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Vol.9

Only? It will not even exceed 100K, I thought with all the hype it would do much better, Overlord, Yahari and No Game No Life are selling +150K per volumes thanks to the anime adaptation.

>14. *10,135 *16,692 Oda Nobuna no Yabou Vol.16
Season 2 never?

Considering Kimi no Nawa has been selling over 100k every week, Re:Zero has just finished airing with a anime of 25 episodes and DAL hasn't had an anime since 2014 with, it is really good. Kimi no Nawa has been snatching away some copies for DAL sadly.

Re:Zero will get season 2 while Overlord and No Game No Life will NEVER get season 2. So +150k per volume doesn't matter.

>*1. 131,856 794,866 Kimi no Na wa. (Kadokawa Bunko)
>*2. *47,261 111,672 Kimi no Na wa. Another Side: Earthbound
Jesus, what a beast

They adapted all 8 novels that were out at the time.

Season 2 never.

39. *25,959 1,479,096 Shingeki no Kyojin Vol.20
I hate this meme

Saekano only sells 30k per volume and it got a S2 a month after airing.

>buying LN's

Just buy a real book if you want to read pages of text that isn't terrible or buy manga for weeb shit.

There is literally nothing good about a LN

how the fuck is kimi ni todoke number 2

And the first chunk of vol. 9.

Re: Zero would need material to adapt first, then they could talk about S2.

Pretty sure Re Zero releases new material at an abnormal rate. Like one volume a month.

You're fucking retarded Kyoanifag, Koe no Flopachi went into the trash after the first week.

Meanwhile Kimi no Na Wa is still kicking on japan, Kyoanus has zero chances to be on the same stage or at least close to that.

>Inb4 "B-But Kizu i-is doing even worse!"

Now fuck off and go back to plebbit.

That seems to be the plan for now, since the author is editing down the WN he's already written, but that still means 1 year+ for them to have the material they'd want to adapt.

>*3. 156,825 *,157,372 Skip Beat! Vol.39
Holy shit, I remember watching the live action version several years ago. This shit is still going on and still selling this much? What the hell could they still be doing at this point?

user, the manga was over a while ago. The fact that it's selling again and making more money is somewhat amazing.

Stop making excuses you pathetic kyoanitard.

That shit is flopping on everything.

The Re:Zero sales are misleading because the volume 9 came out the last day of this ranking (the 25th) so the only thing we know is that it sold 34k on the first day.

1 volume a month?
>mfw Re: Zero author is just a pseudonym Kamachi uses to write even more stuff

Nah, its not quite the same, since Tappei is mostly doing editing, though I think his arc 4 edits are supposed to be pretty significant.

3 days of sales, volume 9 released Friday 23rd.

>all these isekai series
What the fuck man

Where the FUCK is my Oda Nobuna second season? Seriously!!!

>battle harems
>MMOs
>isekai
>based on vocaloid songs

So this is the power of Japanese literature.

user, do you want me to bring up the list of top 10 sellers of young adult books from around the world? I'm sure it's way more autistic and cringeworthy than what you see here.

I just looked it up and 4/10 of the books were written by fucking John Green lmao.

Yeah, we give Japan shit, but their novels are definitely less garbage.

>27. **5,959 *25,081 Goblin Slayer Vol.3

Gob strong.

Based Onii-sama

The anime is almost universally considered the best medium in which to absorb Re:Zero by most everyone. The manga and LN were inferior interpretations of the WN, and the WN is just a huge infodump.

Where Re:Zero is gonna really make money in merchandise, and they could very easily decide to give the go for a second season and offer even more creative flexability for interpretation because this franchise made a name for itself on the back of the anime adaptation.

Why is this so good?

>*3. *34,309 *34,309 Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Vol.9
THIS NEED TO SELL MORE!!!!
REEEEEEE

Nah, not exactly a volume a month. It's just an erratic schedule, but it's been between 3-5 volumes per year so far, so should have another season soonish.

>Re:Zero beating HIGHEST GROSSING JAPANESE FILM OF ALL TIME the LN adaptation
Guess what buddy your favorite anime is now just another piece of seasonal trash to be forgotten in a year's time

overlord was shit senpai

>No Game No Life will NEVER get season 2.
Well, there's the movie coming out next year. I assume that's them testing the waters and spurring up interest for a second season.

>has to use an entire globe to make japan literature less garbage

>*3. 156,825 *,157,372 Skip Beat! Vol.39
>14. *57,137 *,*57,137 Namaikizakari. Vol.8
>25. *39,808 *,*39,808 Niehime to Kemono no Ou Vol.2
>29. *32,500 *,*32,500 Colette wa Shinu Koto ni Shita Vol.5

These are all serialized in Hana to Yume, which means they all have a good chance for an anime if they become popular enough. Exception being more Skip Beat and AkaYona S2.

Placing my bets on the furry manga for 2019.

>*1. 131,856 794,866 Kimi no Na wa. (Kadokawa Bunko)

HOLY SHIT!

>Mahouka lost to DAL
Looks like nationalism is losing some steam

>Manga ended years ago
>Gets 500k sales boost
>That's bad

?

It's always one of the best selling manga.

I'm waiting same as you friend. Hopefully someone picks up translations soon.

see that's what I thought too
then I actually read a few LNs, and saw that the popular ones can be actually well written
Japanese writers follow all the soft rules of good literature, and break all the rules that were meant to be broken. Their enthusiasm bleed through the pages they touch.
by the way, Touma comes from a light novel series with that is both longer AND 20% of the time better written than classics like War and Peace
The other 80% is irredeemable garbage, but don't let the point escape you

>buy manga
Just buy a real comic if you want to read pages of drawings that isn't terrible, or buy anime for weeb shit.

>Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Vol.9

Will raildex remain king?

Railex hasn't been king in ages. That title belongs to SAO.

Will Mahouka beat Kagerou Daze this year?

Well, next week it will be slowed for a bit when Ainz-sama attacks.

Screw Re: Zero. Konosuba S2 will kill.

>16. **9,241 **9,241 Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki Vol.2

Nice already almost 10k. Of course it can't compare to shitfuretas 20-30k+ but still

Nope.

I'm not too familiar with LNs beyond 4 series i keep up with, are any particular writers known as workaholics?

>*1. 131,856 794,866 Kimi no Na wa. (Kadokawa Bunko)

DAL is confirmed ded.

Even this? Will this man ever stop

>kimi no na wa
I dont want to feel that feel anymore

22k people still buy this
>dead

Whats alive to you then? 200k?

It used to sell better than that, I believe a few volumes back broke 100k or was near it not long after release. This one looks to be struggling mightily by comparison. Then again, no more anime boost

Why is Emilia so shit? She ruined the whole novel.

>Shieldbro on a weekly light novel ranking lists

Raildex is too fatigued unless season 3 ended up being good.

How? DAL sold 36k copies, mahouka 135k.

>*6. *20,018 134,630 Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Vol.20

I keep forgetting to continue this series. I think I put it on hold after Vol 15.

Look at total sales user, not weekly sales. Mahouka's volume has sold 130k copies which mean it came out weeks ago but it still managed to sell another 20k this week. DAL on the other hand has sold 36k copies in two weeks.

>DAL 36k in one week.
>It used to sell over 40k in two days.
Then again, Kimi no Na Wa is taking away many buyers from DAL and even Re:Zero considering those numbers.
Still it has dropped. Season 3 when?

DAL came out on 17th. They measured its first day only though.

>13. *10,934 *10,934 Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki Vol.10
Anime when? Need mah cooking and fairy queen.

Isekai is objectively the best genre. It replaced Harems in Guilty Pleasure niche. Out of 400 titles i follow atm around 30 are Isekai and i regret its too little.

>No gam no life is actually in top 30
Let's hope the film go well and for a second seeason

Week of volume release. It'll be off next week.

Kimi no Na wa making the mockery out of LN shit.
Feels good.

Let me have this at least. It's been just about 3 days since release so we'll have some more reliable numbers next week i guess

Hell yeah even Isekaishit can't even compete to Kimi no Na wa and literally shitting against them. Otakushit BTFO hard Normei win.

its just Elvens already realize that r9k:Zero and DAL isn't good so they just going to but a true masterpiece like Kimi no Na wa.

>shieldbro on the list
>mahouka still spanking everything there but kimi no
Dick status:Muh

>>>/reddit/

top 30 no less... still, lets see next week to see where this ends up.

This is the part where atlas dies after all

Maybe people will finally stop shitting out generic garbage LNs.

Who am I kidding, isekaishit is here to stay isn't it.

What?
