Awesome, i kinda figured that they were the main part of the series but aside from jojo this is the first anime series I've gone out of my way to read the manga and now checking out the LNs.

Just don't get confused by volume 15, it's considered one of the best volumes in the series but it throws new readers off sometimes. Just make sure you remember Item from Railgun and Hamazura from the last episode of Index II, that helps a lot.
