I hope they expand on the supernatural element when it's serialized, but manage to keep most of it as comfy SoL focused on the two of them alone. I think that would be the best balance and would give enough scope to write a couple of volumes.

Also I hope they continue to have Shin basically willing to disregard the stipulation that he keeps his hands off her, I don't mind if they're not physically intimate right away but I want to see some of it at least, as the story progresses, without loltimeskip.

I think it has potential to be very good, the author just needs to avoid the pitfall of taking focus away from their interactions. If he can keep that as the main part and add other elements to the story and expand their world a bit then it can't go too far wrong.
