The fact that so many books still name the Devil May Cry "the greatest or most significant or most influential" cuhraazy series ever only tells you how far stylish action games still are from becoming a serious art. Platformer critics have long recognized that the greatest 3D platformer was Psychonauts, which was not the most famous or the best seller of its time, let alone of all times. FPS critics rank the highly controversial Duke Nukem Forever over the other games who were highly popular in and around Europe. Cuhraaazy critics are still blinded by commercial hype: DMC3 sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Platformer critics grow up playing a lot of platformers of the past, FPS critics grow up playing the FPSes of the past. Cuhraaaazy critics are often totally ignorant of the cuhraaaaazy of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Devil May Cry did anything worth of being saved.

So, I haven't played in a while now and skipped a lot of good games. I'll write down some of the games which I played and enjoyed this year and would appreciate if somebody can recommend me anything similar to any of these games, bonus points if it is an indie game as I never really played them before and would like to give it a try.
Games I have played and enjoyed this year - Overwatch, Uncharted 4, Digimon Story Cyber sleuth (that's probably my autism from the past), MGS Phantom Pain I have also tried playing Witcher 3, but felt that it was overrated and overhyped, didn't like it that much Atm playing fallout 4, but I wouldn't rate it more than 7.5, playing it only to kill some time Pre-ordered battlefield 1 and ffxv
