1) who even gets viruses these days
2) they're not gonna make a virus that targets project 64 save states directly
just download project 64 and ocarina of time rom and leave it running and don't turn your computer off if you worry about your save corrupting.
Or buy a 3DS and get it on there

I use one of those protective plastic layers (can't figure out the English word for it), it's harder to get dirty. Plus the fuck man, just wash your hands
Eh, the analogue stick button can be annoying, but i got used to it, I'm having fun
Plus if you really hate touch screen controls there's Bluetooth controllers. Although how much money would you want to spend on mobile emulation?
Some phones have bigger screens. I'm using a Huawei P8, with my old Xperia S it was indeed harder to enjoy it
