A turd that was laid right upon iwatas grave while the dirt was still fresh. Federation force level disgrace.
I wish it was longer and had more rail shooter sections. And gyrowing has no reason to exist.
I think I bought it actually. Where should I sell it back to?
Not bad, landmaster sections and gyrowing suck but the rest of it is decent. I even like the walker
Its ok. It could have had more in it which would have made it better.
can't even bring myself to purchase it for under $30 right now.
I picked up the bundle with Guard for $28. I played it for 2 hours and thought it was fine, but after putting it down for the day, I don't feel like picking it back up again.
it's still my GOTY. it's all i wanted from a new star fox. i have a few minor issues, but as a diehard SF64 fan, i appreciated the mix of new and old. unpopular opinion, don't really care.
Absolute fucking garbage.
No rails bosses, half the content of 64, horrid controls and the final boss and Aquarosa are the very definition of "unplayable".
Probably the only game I've actually returned for being a piece of shit.
>Aquarosa
>unplayable
git gud. Andross is shit and not worth the effort.
This basically.
It was a solid 7/10 for me. Unlike most Cred Forums opinions, I do understand why a lot of posters didn't enjoy it.
>the shape of his belly
So did he give it an 8/10?
Zoness and the final boss was fucking awful, the other bits were okay to good, and it had some nice throwbacks, like the assault carrier.
All right as a game but doesn't live up to Lylat Wars
the people who love it are in denial. People saying the controls are fine are ignoring the deeper flaws of the game.
I was really looking forward to a new star fox game, tried to ignore all the negative press it got, believed that motion controls would be optional.
Nope.
Instead, we got a fucking trainwreck of controls, 75% of the game is All-Range Mode which is worse than ever in this game since it's not used sparingly, and there is only one true alternate path. Being able to save on these short missions also takes away from trying to do well since you can just retry whenever. I get that it's a convenience thing but my god it just removes any tension.
Bosses are "shoot the tiny area from far away" , many are recycled, and basically none of them are any fun. Levels have moments of graphical prowess here and there, but are overall unimpressive. The few new things that are here are barely used in the game or are just the worst. Gyrowing is hitler's taint.
It's a bad game. It might be bad enough to kill the franchise permanently outside of Smash, or at least for another decade.
Is it so fucking hard just to make rail shooter levels?
oh yeah, I forgot to mention: How much worse could they have fucked up the steering controls?
Boost, brake, sumersault, reverse, and sharp turning both left and right IS ALL MAPPED TO AN ANALOG STICK
WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA
Bad game.
Recore is a better game I put more hours into before getting to the unecessary grindy part.
Rail sections are top notch
Just not enough of them
>What does Cred Forums think of this game?
it was a lust penis
TL;DR:
It has more pressing problems than the controls, which weren't that bad.
And gyrowing sucks.
Backing this up, to be fair this hasn't been a great year but this was a clear highlight.
Fuck Gyrowing.
Fuck Chickenwing.
Fuck the controls.
Fuck overused all-range mode.
Fuck Miyamoto.
Here's an honest review. Stop listening to these other retards.
>Literally plays like a Star Fox 64
>Has shit controls
That's it. People are exaggerating how horrible this game is but in reality it's not that bad.
