"A new glitch was recently discovered in TTYD which allows Mario to skip almost all of chapter 3. The trick is done by entering an encounter while jumping, and then jumping again as soon as mario exits the encounter. This allows mario to access a ledge he should not be able to access without Yoshi.

Chibi, the "I would appreciate it if you would be quiet" guy, is new to running the game. When the trick was discovered Chibi was supposedly one of the first people to do it on console. Despite Chibi's PB being approximately 90 minutes behind World Record, and the new skip saving only approximately 10-15 minutes, Chibi was ranting on his twitter which he now deleted that he is doing "world record attempts" despite being extremely far off world record.

As it turns out, Chibi was using levitate cheats to extend his jumps while doing the double jump glitch, to ensure that it is successful every time. This is evidenced by higher than normal jump heights, as well as the lack of a jumping noise when doing the double jump, which was simply Mario levitating.

Chibi was confronted by Malleo ( the guy who made the TTYD TAS) and later admitted to cheating both on skype and on twitter.

Chibi's times have been removed from the TTYD leaderboard, and Some proper are suggesting that Chibi be banned from SpeedRunsLive, Speedrun.com, and GDQs.
