I have been playing video games since 90s and honestly I can't think of a single video game that can overall compete with Witcher 3. It is too hard to find any flaws in Witcher 3. The game excels at everything. The combat can be considered a bit monotonous but it is still good.

I have played the Mgs series, Fallouts, Gothic, Deus Ex, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Dark Souls, Bioshock, Half Life, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto, most crpgs, etc.

I have to say Witcher 3 just excels over all of them. I personally didn't like Witcher 1 and 2. But Witcher 3 felt like a perfect video game to me.

Honestly, I like Witcher 3, but when it's a 10/10... Okami is like a 30/10, Ocarina of time is a 40/10 for its time, same with Majoras Mask, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a 20/10 etc.

Witcher 3 basically has no gameplay or level design. The decision making is nice but far from that good. The crafting is somehow worse and less satisfying than in Witcher 2 and of course a joke to something like Monster Hunter crafting.
