the crew is currently free on uplay. it's very archady and basicly a car-mmo with upgrade parts as loot, but it's very fun

It's a shame though, that they put alot of muscle oldtimers in the game, but not import legends like the rx7 fd or the wrx subaru. not even normie-tier jap cars like the lancer evo in there. But they recently added the 2016 mazda miata, so i can pseudo-rx7 right now

Pro street drag racing was fucking awesome.
Grid Autosport is underrated, lots of DLC but it's all for the dead multiplayer so you don't need any of it.
Race Injection is cheap almost all the time and is a good sim with a ton of content.
If you want multiplayer rFactor, Assetto Corsa and get get ready to download a shit ton of mods because the racing community is autistic as fuck.
There is barely any racing game based on mountain passages. Dirt Rally is the last one that did a game based around those kind of tracks.
Not DORIFTO, but Wipeout XL is the best racing game I have played on PC.

There is really no ideal initial d kind of game. Even the initial d games are pretty shitty.
