Playing a healer class is incredibly fucking difficult in nearly all cases I've encountered, because usually your offense capability has been half buried with a shovel and pissed on. Everyone wants you dead, including your team despite you doing literally EVERYTHING to keep those dense, retarded motherfuckers around you alive. It is fucking stressful. Real healers are an angry, salty bunch.

I think it's fun to play healers in FPS games, but not in MMOs.

Being a medic in BC2 taught me how to be a proper combat medic. XM8 LMG + tap fire = dead Russians for days and heal points through the roof.

They're okay but I usually only play them because we need one to win.

I prefer classes with huge and slow but powerful weapons like hammers or shotguns.

Pure healer classes are cancer and instant healing in combat is overrated.
Don't get me wrong, someone has to be able to heal the party between fights, but during a fight I'd rather have a proactive support class that prevents damage.

Healers are never my first choice, but I value those who opt in for healing duty. I'd do it more often but I'm not great at it.
