I've been thinking about this a little and I think the main problems people are having is down to identity politics.

Cred Forums is a shit board because it derails into identity politics like 80% of the time. (an example being sjw vs alt right)
Arguments aren't judged by their value and are instead, judged on how "something"-like they sound.
This is made worse by the the IDs because it just becomes a game of how quickly people can imply that a poster is SJW, reddit, fedora etc etc and every post they make will be invalid, as well as making other anons gang up on the poster in an attempt to side with the popular.
If you watch arguments on Cred Forums or Cred Forums you'll notice that a lot of it is pulling out debating vocabulary like strawman, burden of proof etc etc.
These aren't inherently bad terms but there's more to a discussion than pointing out logical fallacies and trying to "win" (especially when there's more than two sides)

Cred Forums is like a slightly more chilled out version of Cred Forums because everything doesn't break down into picking a side... but most of it does and the same problems apply.

Filenames have been apart of this board since forever. Draw threads should probably go to a place like /ic/. /vg/ is for the games themselves.
