What you are seeing is the bone showing more glow in his skin. The reason being because the model in the bone version has his head slightly tilt. Because of that the lightning he is getting differs a bit making his skin look brighter from the sweat

The PC version has/had a bug when you first load a save where the texture displayed on his cowl was the 'softly raining texture' instead of the proper 'hard raining' textures. It fixes itself almost immediately.
