it was pretty good

>Hey I really like Monster Hunter how about we make MGS like that?
what the fuck was he thinking?

It was pretty ok

Gameplay was pretty weak for the most part, and the story is even worse.

I liked the cut scene presentation, though. It was a good change of pace from the usual stuff.

>Foxhound hat

What the flying fuck? I never saw this

Is this from Shinikawa?

>foxhound logo

I don't remember that in pw?

That, or Ashley Wood.

Best Metal Gear.
Most feels.

>Hey my son really likes Monster Hunter how about we make MGS like that
Fixed

I loved it
but I also loved mgsv and everyone hates it on Cred Forums

It is my favorite Metal Gear because it favored gameplay over long retarded cutscenes and codec talks.

He had established FOX-HOUND by that point, so it's not too hard to believe. I don't think the logo shows up anywhere in the actual game itself, though.

He was thinking about his son.

well then fuck Kojima's son

It has the best atmosphere I think, but the worst system and gameplay.

The only MGS I couldn't finish, which also made me not wanting to play MGSV.

>soldiers start humming this song during the quarantine on Mother Base

Is that for real? God damn.
I cried like a bitch at the end, when she starts singing and walking into the lake, then all the nukes on the radar screen turn into peace signs.
It was a million times more emotional than the MGS 3 ending.

They hum the Peace Walker theme, not Heavens Divide

It was fun as fuck to kidnap soldiers and make your base. I have not played MGS5 yet but I heard it has a similar system. Is it true?

Yes it does, and you can actually visit Mother Base and fuck around.
I don't see why everyone hated TPP so much. Sure the story was incomplete but the gameplay was some of the best in the series.

>that webm

>the gameplay was some of the best in the series.
Depends on what your preferences prioritize/emphasize. I think MGSV's gameplay is mostly pretty good at what it does, but it doesn't do the same kind of thing as, say, MG2 or MGS2.

>I cried like a bitch at the end, when she starts singing and walking into the lake, then all the nukes on the radar screen turn into peace signs.

Kojibo looks skinnier in every new picture.

>There are people in this board right now who are still mad at the venom Snake twist

Nevermind, it's shinikawa

Most out of place final battle song in the game

It seemed oddly fitting to me

Eh, nah. I think Raiden was ultimately more interesting.

That got me extra hard, since I'd just done a runthrough of 3/PW before V's release, so I immediately understood what was going on.

These days, I doubt it.

Before GZ came out, there was a pretty big PW co op community on /vg/, but that's long since gone.

That's really cute. What's going to happen to the other dog when one dies?

Of course I am. But still is not like it had relevance in the main canon.
Is like the poor's man raiden twist

My favorite game.

>Holt Coldman
I'm gonna prove nuke deterrance doesn't work by making a robot who will launch nukes in retaliation. But, first, I must create a fake nuke scare to try to force the robot to nuke South America so that I can force all the people to work for me.
