Try Sekien no Inganock. It's not the greatest but the setting is kind of cool. There a little smut but it's not really a focal point. The token minigame is stupid though, it's 100% trial and error so you might as well use a guide for that.

At least Sharnoth's minigame has real game mechanics. I like Sharnoth's setting and Mary is really cute (enough to make me dread losing the minigame), but all of the girls have noodle arms in the art and the plot wasn't really grabbing me so I never finished it. Though I may come back to it (Inganock took me more than one try as well, mostly because of Randolph).

I'm mostly mad at them locking scenes if you didn't do well enough at the minigame.
