Cred Forums can't be fixed. Its problems are a result of having too many users and too large of a flux of new users. Slower boards keep order through self moderation to maintain some standards. New users may make mistakes, but they eventually learn the unofficial rules of the board. The board adapts the new users to its culture rather than new users changing the culture of the board. This doesn't work on Cred Forums because the large population is too diverse to have any consistent standards. Self moderation can't be maintained when shit posters out number anyone else.

The only solution is to just read it through a filter. Ignore shit posts and find the genuine ones hidden under it all. Despite the problems there is still some good discussion that can be found if you look for it.
