Confession thread

Let us tell each other our sins, so that the healing process may begin.

I have absolutely no problem with Call of Duty games, and I'll most likely get Infinite Warfare with the Modern Warfare remaster.

On the other hand, I don't have any fucking clue why people think Battlefield is superior, it's only main plus over CoD is vehicles.

I think Hatred is a good game, and I've been working on a speedrun.

Speaking of, I think we need more games like Hatred, simply for it's edginess.

MGS5 was my first MGS game.It was alright.

I thought Halo 4 was pretty good, and doesn't deserve half the hate it gets.

I started a youtube channel because I wanted to post no commentary vids, and I have 160 subs, but it's only like that because I also narrate awful barneyfag shit.

You're a fucking loser.

I "accidentally" spilled soda into my friends brand new rig out of jealousy.
He was showing me how to put the components together to show how easy building one actually is, but during so I put my can of coke near the edge of his table and when I got back him I smacked the table so it would spill all over his stuff.

I don't really feel remorse for it, but I know others would regard it as a sin.

Post your youtube channel, plebian.

that is not a sin, that is just a signal that you are a beta cuck incapable of working to earn your own shit so you do the gayest of things by ruining other people stuff like a fag

Are you literally 14?

ayyy reposts

i have sucked many a videogame

I think fallout 4 not only was a good game but made alot of improvements on the series.

Dick move, dude,

he is probably baiting. If that faggotry is true though he has to be no more than 12 AND mentally challenged

>I started a youtube channel because I wanted to post no commentary vids
Please go for it. No matter the game, I can't find any video with gameplay in it that has no commentary.

I want to see a game in action, not your voice, you fucking idiot.

underage b&

I tend to like a game more if I find out that Cred Forums hates it.

Also, I tend to find the best parts of games. I don't like to think of any games as bad, just some opportunities missed. In doing so, I don't think I've ever played a game that I outright didn't like.

you could try like... playing videogames for once, you know?

Then search for "game gameplay." Idiot. The purpose of a walk through or lets play is to get the persons thought process or tips as they're playing. Quit being tech illiterate.

You disgust me.

I banged all the prostitutes in Witcher 3 multiple times while drinking in game and irl for roleplay purpose

Quirky JRPGs is one of my favorite subgenres. I love Undertale and I'm still excited for Mother 4 and Glitched.
Platformers not made by Nintendo are only even slightly interesting at Roguelikes.
Metroidvania style is better than Classic Castlevania, imo.
I stopped having fun with Overwatch pretty early on, but still occasionally play it and tf2.
My waifu is a Pokegirl.

"Don't feel remorse"
You cost your friend hundreds of dollars.
You're not his friend, clearly.
You're a bad person.

I'm an adult with a job, have a 6700k 4.6ghz/16gb ram/1070gtx /ssds rig and all i play is TTT and zombie escape. Nothing new really interests me for any length of time.

You can begin the healing process by drinking bleach you tasteless faggot.

I have a girlfriend and go to college.

>Glitched
fag
>Metroidvania
my man
>Pokegirl
fag

I don't consider it a sin and feel smug about it, but.
During Elementary I took a ball magnet to school and fried as many Gameboys as I could during recess while Pokemon was at the height of its popularity. I erased so many save files.

I played no mans sky and liked it. I didnt return....am i a monster

I don't like overwatch. I played 150ish hours and had fun but since release I don't enjoy much..

I was a genji main. I think he's the only character with difficulty besides "position yourself well and you'll get a team wipe with edge blossom"

i really enjoyed playing skyrim

actually, skyrim is probably the last game i remember genuinely enjoying

on the surface, JRPGs should really appeal to me, but i never love them

basically i think video games have lost the magic for me and this makes me so sad

This might not be a sin on here but anywhere else it is.

Shovel knight is highly overrated, bad game with shitty jumping. It's only praised for its pretty alright sound and graphics.

I'm married and an engineer. The pay is so good I'm getting a second PC so my wife can play games with me.

kill yourself

I was about to call you a monster. You saved me the work.

kys

Go pirate Spore. It is the same game except better in nearly every way.

I thought Halo 4 was pretty good too OP, 5 is the only real offender.

But no one can really take my game opinions seriously because I genuinely enjoy playing Sonic 06 and have beaten it multiple times

I genuinely enjoy games Cred Forums calls autistic or spreadsheets
I haven't enjoyed "normal" games in years.

Don't feel bad for enjoying them. Most of Cred Forums think that anything that requires more planning than the next 5 minutes is for autists.

I have a pretty decent job and just got a sick promotion

I dont feel bad about playing them, if anything I feel bad about not enough people playing them.

I do feel bad about not being able to enjoy normal games now.

I killed my mom by not replying to this post

World of Warships is one of my favourite games

I've played through every single Call of Duty single player campaign, but never touched the online portion, splitscreen at most.

Descent>Quake

Forza>Gran Turismo

WipEout>F-Zero

Despite my top 10 being very "Cred Forums", I actually like a lot of modern AAA games like Fallout 4, CoD etc.

I play every single grand strategy game with cheats. I'm not good at them at all, but all my friends think I'm this master grand strat pro.

I can't keep this lie up much longer.

what are your top 10? just curious

undertale was literally the best game I've ever played

it's kept me motivated and I actually improved my life because of it

No particular order

Deus Ex
Fallout New Vegas
Morrowind
Planescape Torment
Persona 4 Golden
KOTOR 2
Dragon's Dogma
Dark Souls
Witcher 3
Mount & Blade Warband

It's pretty much standard Cred Forums-core

I once accepted a bribe of $100,000 to push a new bill into legislation and spent every single cent of it on a Japanese gacha game.

I've never played a legend of zelda game. Was never given a nintendo console, instead I just grew up on a PS1.
Down the line I played things like Pokemon, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Kirby, etc. but just never zelda despite how popular it is, 24 years old and i'm still ashamed that I can't be bothered to play it.

Hatred is kind of bland for all the drama that surrounded it.

I actually do not mind mindless grinding in games, I do care though when the game in question does not have a way to make it faster and more efficiently or outright makes grinding more tedious than it needs to be.

Zelda games bore me to tears.

Your friend should have beaten the shit out of you. What kind of "friend" purposely destroys a very expensive private property and has no remorse after it?

I bought all the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games and their DLC on Origin. I already owned DA:O and ME1 on Steam. I will also for sure be getting Andromeda.

I liked Undertale since it was a stupid demo only posted on Cred Forums no one knew about. I was completely happy with the game and enjoyed it. I still enjoy it today even with the fanbase being the way it is.

>be me
>see disgusting and immature behavior of PC gamers and especially PCMRetards
>don't want to suppport platform with such a shitty, immature and hypocritical audience
>literally stopped buying games on PC
>havent bought a game on PC for like 2 years
>pirate and play everything on PC though because I want to play the best version
>buy console version instead so I have a legal copy and devs get my money

I really enjoyed Gone Home

The setting in max payne 3 was far enjoyable than in max payne 1 and 2.

Smash 64 is my favorite, even after all the other games.

I look up guides/walkthroughs for games more than I'd ever like to admit

Borderlands as a series is good, gameplay and music wise. Otherwise yeah it's pretty shit.

Sonic games never really interest me, nor have I ever gotten down and truly played one for extended periods of time.

FE:Fates, at least conquest, is one of my favorite FE.

Duke forever wasn't that bad. Not that good either but far from the worst game ever.

Never finished Dues Ex, but I beat HR.

I hate STALKER games.

Fallout 4 is alright, at least to me, it's a billion times better than 3, which still isn't saying much.

After years of dating I have just given up on ever having a girl I like. Every single one ended up not being compatible with me. Since I've given up I've taken to ranking each female in a video game on if I would let her fuck me or not.

that's not so bad user.

I really like Scale Garden's last 2 porn games combat mechanics, Sangeki of Gear and Rhode's Fortress. It takes an interesting spin on JRPG turn based combat, where there's only 1 party member and 1 enemy in each fight, and makes it look like a one on one duel, specially the tough fights. HP is restored completely after each fight and you only have to worry about Vitality, which is needed to perform all actions in combat and use skills.

Apollo Justice was my favorite Ace Attorney, having played since the very first, and Im finding the Kuh'rain cases in SoJ EXTREMELY boring.

Genwunners aren't actual Pokémon fans.

I think the Mario franchise is extremely overrated and overdone. The only good Mario games are spinoffs. Nintendo are way too reliant on it.

I think Battleborn is the best hero shooter.

I think that the Borderlands Coop is the best Coop mode in a loot shooter ever created.

I think The Witcher 3 is the best rpg.

>feeding EA

Have you considered, you know, just not buying the shitty game?

I used to be really into fightan games. I ended up dropped the whole genre a bit after SFV released. Now I play Magic cards instead. The only video game I play these days is 'Magic Duels' on Steam.

i got stuck in the deku tree segment in OoT as a kid and gave up playing

i still find zelda puzzles to be hard and as a result i've ever beaten a zelda game and i always refuse to look up guides for puzzles due to my stubbornness

i was that kid who would talk non stop shit on the mic in online games

l like metroidvania games but i've never played a metroid game and i only played SoTN but it didn't grab me and i stopped playing it

i buy fifa every year with out fail and dump huge amounts of money in the micro transactions for it

i've owned every single sony console but i don't regard myself as a fanboy or get into console war arguments, however i did purchase a ps3 over a xbox 360 over the fact of which had the better parody song mocking the other system on youtube

made my psn when i was super into naruto with it have a supper fagggotiy name and iv'e only stuck with that account for the sole purpose of retaining all my trophies

Dunno if this is a sin but I have never owned a Nintendo console and I have no desire to.

I have not completed a single Zelda or Mario game.

I think Jak 3 is the best in the series.

I liked Thief Deadly Shadows and Deus Ex IW, though the latters story was pretty disapointing.

I disliked MGS2, purely because I found the Shell to be a rather boring enviroment.

I sometime savescum my characters while playing hardcore mode in Grim Dawn. Im not playing softcore because I don't like the total lack of punishment for dying. I try not to savescum too much as I am still punished by losing items and 2 - 3 lvl. It's pretty autistic I know.

Don't worry user, I did it to. Feels good to like Bioware games

I like 3DS so much I use it more than any other device.
I can't drive passengers anywhere because when I accelerate, I say vroomvroom and make a pigeon sound (brbrbrbrbrbr), since this is what I did in racing games when I was a kid and I haven't been able to shake it. Was an awkward driving test.

Dark Souls is my favorite video game series
I sometimes play shifty flash games at work
I got legitimately and autistically mad when my friend remade her character in Dark Souls because I wanted to do a co-op run
Despite my friend telling me not to worry about it and that she understands why, I still feel bad about that
I picked up Mass Effect 2 just to romance Tali

When people call say this game requires skill, I translate that to "this game requires muscle memory". Hence I find bayonetta, mmos and turn based rpgs to all be the similar.

I still haven't beat earthbound yet, just got to the swamp after a few years

I only like Street Fighter and other "real" games casually with a friend, I can never play them competitively or against CPU because I always get salty and blame something other than my own ineptitude.
In fact, the reason I've stuck by Smash Brothers for so long is because combos are easily escapable and I don't have to worry about screwing up inputs on specials.
While it's a main reason other people hate it, Kingdom Hearts' increasingly convoluted plot makes me love it even more, completely unironically.
I enjoy Genocide Run in Undertale infinitely more fun than Pacifist because it's more challenging and makes you consider what healing items to bring into battles instead of all of them maxing you out.
I only buy Nintendo consoles because they're the only consoles with good exclusives, and I planned on making a good PC build to play everything else but it's more expensive no matter which way I slice it so I'm giving up and getting a PS4 anyway.
I loved Sticker Star, probably because I haven't played 1 or TTYD, and I'm actually excited for Color Splash.

I could go on for well over 5 posts.

JRPGs are my favorite genre. I own every Dragon Quest, Etrian Odyssey, Shin Megami Tensei, mainline Final Fantasy, and most minor series.

But I've only beaten 5% of my collection so far

Back in elementary school I sold some kid cheat codes for $20.

I want to be super good at certain games but I lose interest a week or so into it

I've made custom spine covers with dumbass meme titles scrawled in pen because I put the covers on my wall.

Onechanbara Z2 Chaos was one of the most fun games I played this year.

I rarely finish games, I get to about %80-90 then stop for some other game

Anything involving a talking book or spells that come out of a book now gives me Nier PTSD
