>But not Death Battle or Super Smash Flash

i like it, he already put the first episode out and it's really good.
youtube.com/watch?v=C5-ErbSrTOc

Is this even legal?

This.
How the fuck does Screw Attack get away with Death Battle and getting millions of views per video too?

You can pretty much put anything on paytreon and suckers will fund it

did this end a forever ago?

He brought it back

You mean very cringe

Doesn't name Screw Attack come from a Metroid power up?

>cancelled again

Some things were never meant to be I guess

Yes.
Their logo is also based on that.

>first episode
>still nothing since then
Wew

How do they get away with that?

Screw attack has been around for a long time I'm sure they've reached some sort of agreement with Nintendo on fair usage

SMBZ on the other hand is probably not fair use, especially seeing as he's soliciting donations (revenue) off characters not owned by him. It's purely exists as nostalgia fuel if you weren't around back then you wouldn't understand. That fight on Yoshi's island is legitimately good however

>Hi many of you might know me as Alvin-Earthworm or Rukaisho if you follow my furry artwork
>my furry artwork
For what reason did he believe this was smart to put in his patreon

People have nostalgia for it, and it's mindless 'fun'. I'd have no problem with this if he didn't beg for money.

Because furries aren't as uncommon as you might think.

I'm not finding it. In fact, when I search google, the whole first page is filled with links about how Nintendo took this down.

Also, for the record, these things are some of the most embarrassing things to come out of newgrounds, and Cred Forums used to laugh at you for watching them.

Alvin never even liked making SMBZ to begin with. He just wanted an easy way to gain followers and making sprite flashes was the easiest way. At the end of the day, making furry porn was his passion.

I still remember when he threw a tantrum on Newgrounds because people found his stash of furry porn and everybody started making spam flashes about it.
The spammers also started spreading rumors about him which led to a heavy shitstorm.
At first it was harmless shitposting. People claiming he stole the flash from an obscure dA page, that he wasn't giving credit to people who helped work on SMBZ, etc. Eventually somebody spread the rumor that he was a pedophile and he had a breakdown on the NGBBS. He confessed to fingering his underage cousin at a party and that he thinks about doing it again whenever they're together.

He deleted his entire NG history so I'm going off memory here. If there's any oldfag NGers here to help confirm my story that'd be great.

Patreon is pathetic. Artists welfare any one who uses it I immediately stop watching. Fucking doss begging cunts. Filth.

>Also, for the record, these things are some of the most embarrassing things to come out of newgrounds, and Cred Forums used to laugh at you for watching them.

I was wondering why people were pissed this got taken down when it's autism incarnate and the exact sort of thing you'd get beat up for back in the day

Who got pissed? Cred Forums did? I wouldn't be surprised. Many from newgrounds migrated to Cred Forums. Just like gaia migrated to Cred Forums, just like reddit integrated with Cred Forums. So to has newgrounds become a part of Cred Forums, and now people are posting nostalgically about fucking Mario Bros Z. This place has gone to shit.

t. furry

His entire game plan for SMBZ was that he'd make one episode per 8 months, 15 episodes per arc, and 4 arcs in total. It would have taken him about 40 years to complete the series. His patreon was a scam and Nintendo was totally in the right for taking it down.

Literal autism.

fuck, I remember that I actually cried when YI got destroyed
looking back at a lot of newgrounds stuff, most of it was pretty autistic and edgy

Furries are more loose with their money. That's probably why he's unabashedly putting it out there. Because furries support what they like with real cash. And not just empty praise.
t. furry artist.

...

Where the fuck is the second episode? People are paying him on patreon for this autistic shit but he can't deliver, it's been 8 months damn it.

Same, whenever an artist goes on Patreon, their art suddenly looks like everyone else's and for some strange reason, it becomes un-fap-able.

What's wrong with getting paid to do your art?

>Where the fuck is the second episode? People are paying him on patreon for this autistic shit but he can't deliver, it's been 8 months damn it.

That's exactly how a Patreon scam works. Because he's being made monthly the longer it takes for him to do it, the more money he will make overall.

The sooner he completes the project the sooner people won't have a reason to give him money.

>That fight on Yoshi's island is legitimately good however
For all of this series' cringe I watched that bit again and it's actually really well put together.

parody/referencing/satire
it's not reusing old assets and releasing them for free on their own, it's "analytical". it's like game theory or any other youtube theory show. nintendo isnt taking damage from people talking about their IPs, the argument could be made that they are taking damage by people releasing games using their IPs though.

He quit the internet because he was tired of all the mean people who expect him to live up to his promises.
twitlonger.com/show/n_1sp1jmt

His Patreon was shut down because using Nintendo characters for cash is retarded.

When it was up I'm pretty sure it was payment per video.

>yfw shit got even more real when snappleman started to play

>on patreon

here we go

How deep does this lore go.

Don't know if you already know this. But Patreon has the option for creators to choose a "pay per product" payment method. A lot of people don't use it, but I just figured you should know it's there, and many artists are actually using it.

back to his old ways mate

back to his old ways

Fuck off beggar boy.

>When it was up I'm pretty sure it was payment per video.

Nah he put up a non-specific new one right afterwards under his own name which I screencapped back then. Both the original and his current one are per month. He's still getting like $1,200 per month for nothing.

>all he's done on twitter for months is post about "muh depression"
>EIGHT (8) months after ep1 he goes on break
What the fuck was he doing before? Paid leave?

You drawing bara shit for them too?

The animation is pretty good, but the author is too much of a bitch
