Barely anyone plays there character on high level to the point where they can be certain of a match up being difficult. They think they are good and unbeatable by anyone below the character specific tierlist until they run into "that hard read dude who plays Ganondorf" or that "technical as fuck patient Little Mac doing perfect pivots" or that "Precise Campy Zelda main" Monado Master Shulk that adapts to any situation" "Rest happy Puff" or my favorite when someone beats them as their own main to prove the character has a higher skill floor. It's better to admit you are not the best at the character you main then to say a match up is unwinnable or unfavorable just because you cannot win it with your current skill. Low tiers teach you more about the games fundementals then top tiers because they lack get out of jail free options or 40% guaranteed combos and easier safier spacing tools so they force you to think with less tools that they have and make the best of things. So you are forced to make tough decision making and less mistakes. Top tiers teach you nothing about Smash 4's fundamentals because they don't require any until really high levels of play and low tiers will always be above that.

MU's arent relevant for low level play idiot. If two player of close to equal skill (The kind that you see at tournaments) play 100 games the results are your MU. They aren't relevant in low level play because ZeRo would slaughter anyone here myself included with just about any character. MU's do translate down the line but they aren't as impactful.
