The way people used to get around it was by loading the image, disconnecting their phone from the internet, saving the image and then closing completely out of the program, making sure it wasn't running any tasks in the background before turning the internet back on.

It apparently doesn't work anymore.

The Snapchat people are super serious about privacy and whatnot. Like said. You have to jump through a bunch of hoops just to get it running on an emulator, and even then you get banned once their servers pick up that you aren't on a supported device.
