Time for a story, Cred Forums. I decided a few weeks ago to call Nintendo customer service to tell them about that NESbox emulator that the Xbox One is getting. The service rep redirected me to the Nintendo headquarters in Washington. I got a rather nice lady, and decided to tell her about it. At first, she didn't believe me, but then I linked her to all the information about the NESbox emulator. When she saw and started reading it, she started to freak out. She literally stated that "this information would be handed down to Nintendo of America's lawyers for inspection". Then, I hung up with her being satisfied that I accomplished what I wanted. Which was, to hopefully cause Nintendo of America to try to sue NESbox, and cause Nintendo of America to lose lots of money when they lose the case. Since the NESbox is entirely legal. So let it be known that a shitstorm is soon to happen.

Yeah, no...Most of these fangames aren't good and most of the ones that are practically plagiarise the gameplay mechanics of an existing Nintendo game to a T or just outright steal the calculations(Pokemon fangames).The fan developers couldn't make an interesting or well designed original game unless they're dipping into making redundant games that match something Nintendo already made. You can't expect Splatoons, Mario Galaxy's, 3D World, Pikmin, Captain Toads, or Breath of the Wilds from fangames.

Pokemon Gen 4 clones, Metroid Zero Mission clone, Mother 3 clone is what you're getting and fan game developers spending a decade or more to make a game that already exists...what a load of bollocks.
