Your examples aren't the best.

You can point to almost any WWII game and find tons of historical inaccuracies.

WWII was a majority of rifles as well but no one ever complained about the things they seem to complain about in BF1.

Prototype weapons, or weapons that didn't see wide usage are everywhere in WWII games. The STG44/Mkb42, the FG 42 are two I can think of that you see everywhere in WWII games.

Every other soldier having an SMG or semi-automatic rifle when in reality most squads had one or two men with SMGs or a semi auto rifle in WWII. The Germans for most of the war only had one MP40 per squad.

Hell even Battlefield 1942 was extremely inaccurate if your focused on the weapons people had alone, no one ever gave a fuck back then though
