My one big complaint about the Zero Suit was always that it's rendered like some kind of latex fetish suit. I always felt that it'd look better if it had sockets or panels that signified that it was an undersuit for an advanced power armor that could also function as a combat suit by itself.

This is more or less what I envision. It's still recognizably the Zero Suit, but it looks more functional.

On one hand, I think they can improve the action and the atmosphere. Moving and shooting will feel good. Also, the one of the lead prime artists migrated to Halo during Halo 4's production. So I'm sure Halo's art team can replicate the Prime visuals, only better.

On the other hand, Prime's gameplay is much more puzzle oriented. Prime is kind of like Zelda, except you shoot instead of swing a sword. I'm not sure if Bungie can do puzzle design.

Duh. But it was once canon. it's not as though someone just made up Samus being tall before. Someone said that Samus being tall is "headcanon". But it 's not headcanon if it's supported by official material. It was just retconned.

And the point was that it shouldn't have gotten retconned. That Samus should have remained tall, and that she should once again be tall in the future. I don't see how so many of you guys can't understand the concept. It's like you have no basic concept of time. He's talking about something that existed in the past, and wishes that it still existed. He's not saying that the past Samus overrides the current Samus. Come the fuck on.

i'll agree that not everything is explained. obviously. but seeing as how all the technology is some weird digital solid shit that even the federation mastered, i cant think that shes anything but energy in it except for a few parts like i mentioned before.

and i used the death animations as my proof. you can see her in the suit, after it flashes and explodes. and thats even if you die as a morph ball. so i have to think it and she just reforms before blowing. of course her dying isnt canon so what happens when she dies doesnt really matter.

physically fitting in the suit is simply not an option for me. not even in a "we know its bullshit but just accept it" kind of way. they keep showing us this kind of technology, so i feel like thats the logical path to follow if you want to understand how the suit works.

and i know no one likes it, but i mean look at other m. the suit is much bigger than samus is. and she flashes with light when putting it on or taking it off like if her body is turning into energy or being "morphed" into a different shape.

Who the fucks says the game will be pixelated? If the next 2D Metroid game is made it will be 3D stuck on a 2D plane like New Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Country Returns. The difference here is Samus dying and completing the game at the fastest time. It would make far more since to have Samus be 6'0" like the other 2D games to match with her 6'2" suit. It would be so retarded if the game removes the suit and Samus is an entire feet shorter than the suit.

And you didn't address Fusion's suit being grafted to Samus.

Not in Prime, when we are 100% certain she's energy in the morphball mode. In the other games, it's uncertain if she's energy or not. As the morphball completely encases her.
