Why is stealth archery the objective best skill route in skyrim?

Why is stealth archery the objective best skill route in skyrim?

It kills build creativity so badly

My skooma-addled and naked redguard fighter disagrees.

Although his adventuring days are long since over. A wall failed to load in Riften, so he's been traversing an invisible ground through an empty and surreal spirit quest for months now.

Sword and Board + Restoration is a lot more consistent than Sneak.

It largely has to do with how absolute garbage Bethesda's AI perception is. Your character could be naked and walk up on soft dirt behind a guy who's next to a fucking roaring waterfall and he'll STILL detect you from a substantial distance away. Not to mention the shitty enemy placement often means you'll turn a corner or open and door and BAM there's someone conveniently placed there.

Hitting the sneak key, on the other hand, is pretty much a minor invisibility, so many players end up constantly crouched while dungeon crawling. Add in the multiplier for doing damage while hidden (using a bow, thanks to the AI's short-distance omniscience), and stealth archery just becomes an attractive route to take.

I dont know what they were thinking when they gave the ranged weapon the second highest sneak damage multiplier.

conjuration is even stronger

>Not playing on PC

I wouldn't even consider playing a Bethesda game without the console available.

Mage is way better

>can only conjure one minion at a time

Destruction with 100% mana cost decrease enchantments 2bh.

The game loses all difficulty.

untill you max the perks and feel like a necro god.

also everyone cheat the perk shit in one way or another

...

>can summon a whole two summons
It's a bandaid on a bullet wound

>Pick up Skooma for the first time
>Oh sweet, I can't wait to see how this fucks you up, I wonder if it'll cause hallucinations or make the screen go all wiggly or something.
>Check it out in the inventory
>Replenishes Stamina
Is Bethesda the worst developer in the history of video games?

My disk is scratched to all hell, and I fucking love it.
> Walk into Solitude.
> Forsworn, Draugr, Daedra, Spriggans, and Witches oh my!
> Fucking free for all in the streets.
> Separate save created.
> Walking across solstheim, dragon flies over and we fight.
> Absorb its soul before it even dies.
> I am now fighting a skeleton dragon.
> Bend will and ride.
> Separate save created.

I love Bethesda games.

Fag

none of this happened

underage leave

Loving every laugh

>you can summon 2 mobs to Tank and deal Huge damage infinite times
>balanced

necro is OP as fuck since you never take any damage and your mobs do all the work

Melee feels weightless, and there are no good spells and the mage questline shit is half-assed/cut content.

>Sword and Board
there are people that actually do this

can someone 2 daedra though, also mods

Stealth archer is fun.

Yeah the only good quest line is Dark Brotherhood.

>Skyrim
>Difficulty

Spells look best when their textures don't load.

I hadn't until recently. You're effectively an unstoppable train with no brakes, especially if you take up enchanting and smithing.

Skooma, man. It's one hell of a drug.

Thieves Guild had the potential to be good, but then every single quest was the same shit.

daedric quests while still pretty lame are an improvement over previous titles

I was really excited for the thieves guild since the Oblivion one was so top tier. Skyrim quests are pale shadows of what came before though. The vampire route in Dawnguard is pretty damn good though, comparatively.

its funny how much better the vamp route is then the dawnguard route, I think bethesda expected people to side with the vamps

really shouldn't have made crossbow updates tied to the danguard faggots then
