best arcade racer

PC when?

Is the game locked at 30 frames? If so Im throwing my xbone in the fucking trash. I haven't had a reason to plug it in since fucking June.

DON'T WANT TO SPEND 100 BUCKS FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

>Finally available on PC
>Can't pirate it

I haven't even seen the review but I'm going to bet my life savings that Ryan Mccaffery reviewed this

It is

I wouldn't be surprised.

>Available on PC
>Windows 10 (NSA Special edition) only.
>Didn't get Xbox One

Man.. I don't want to buy a console for one game, but I'm close to it with this.

It's Luke Reilly
for whatever that's worth

>refuses to buy spyware OS
>willing to buy spyware console
Check out this guy

Oh okay, I just assumed it was Ryan because he's the biggest Forza shill out there

Yeah, because I'm not going to look at porn, download torrents or do my banking on a fucking console.

Why is this allowed?

I hope you don't connect your console to the same network as your PC either.

Right? Surely you don't :^)

Because you don't have to buy it even though plenty of other people want to and will.

Because it's
>the game
>a car pack
>the season pass
>VIP membership
It's just unfortunately the only version that gets an early release. It especially sucks because the car pack and VIP shit just gives you supercar wankery that I can't stand, and obviously you don't know what's going to be in the season pass packs.

PC version comes out this friday if you're willing to pay an extra 20 bucks.

Here's the launch trailer by the way

Will this join the pantheon of fun arcade-style racing games?

Shall it live up to the likes of Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast, Burnout 3/Paradise, Dirt 2, F-Zero GX, and Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing Transformed?

Considering it's a better Burnout Paradise, sure.

Wait, so the Horizon series isn't a sim racer like the flag ship series? I wanted to get back into simulation racers since GT takes 8 years and shit between releases but if Horizon is an arcade racer at heart then no thanks.

It's slightly more arcady to make navigating the open world easier but it's not Need For Speed levels of unrealism

Never played an open world racer before. Is it multiplayer like the Crew or something with persistent servers or more like a GTA game that you can't get out of your car? Can I do structured progression like sim racers where I compete in progressively harder or more varied events and earn stuff? I just really liked playing my sim racers like pokemon or something where I collect all the cool cars and tweak my cars and just general comfiness. I'm not looking for XTREME DRIFT STUNTS HARDCORE DESTRUCTION shit like the arcade racers seem to aim for.

Sonyggers BTFO

>open world racing

FFS, when will this trend end? What next - an open world bullet hell game?
