Fuck NoA.

I wanted to, but then Atlus censored it.

No Wii U. I'm not a fan of idol culture so I probably wouldn't have bought it anyways.

Because I pirated it
If NoA wanted my money they shouldn't have censored it
Can't even fucking import thanks to region lock

You said it was the best game ever so I assumed it would do fine on its own.
Guess not.

I was promised a SMT and FE spinoff, and instead got a JRPG that's FE in name only and not SMT at all.

Because I wasn't stupid enough to buy another Nintendo Player.

Did it once with the Gamecube. Never again.

>buying a censored piece of shit when I can get the uncensored version for free
No thanks but if I bought SMT x FE i would literally be a cuck.

>I'm not a fan of idol culture
To share this board with such lowlifes.

>Tsubasa's game

Not really, it's not the female's game at all. MC is male.

The only game I've decided against buying due to censorship. And I bought Bravely Default and Xenoblade X.
Normally I despise people who cry censorship at every little change in localization, but the fact of the matter is, every aspect of the game was already niche as fuck from the ground up, "idol" culture will always be completely alien to westerners, and it was absolutely foolish of them to do so in this case since no amount of skin-removal or age-adjustment would get normies to buy it.

The only reason they did it is because the Wii U has had literally nothing else worth a shit in 2016 since Pokken, and will not have anything worth a shit coming out until Zelda.

I did.

>bravely default
*bravely second

DJ MasterSeal was supposed to bring the normies in. Too bad they got rid of his funky attitude came the second video.

i bought it because im a fucking retard

>Implying she wasn't the reason to get the game

We already answered this. Are you retarded?

It's okay, Bravely Default was censored too.

We're gonna have a thread about this game everyday now, just like in the good old times.

>likes idol shit
>calls others low lifes
Kill yourself, holy shit

Not what I wanted from the crossover.

It might as well be Tsubasa's game because even the game doesn't give the damn about the MC outside of self-insert bullshit.

Idol fans are up there with mlp fans

>the MC is so insignificant they have to insert Marth's personality into him at the end.

Cred Forums was never good

>liking idol culture

If I was your father I would beat you.

It's idolshit

And I would probably love it.

I did

the censorship stuff is minor, but so is my interest in the game

the former is enough to cancel out the latter

I know. But the bunny outfit and the bravado bikini being censored didn't really bother me because the Bravely series isn't hype-niche and has conventional appeal, thus I was willing to deal with small changes.
Plus the outfits like the Spell Fencer were untouched.
Plus plus, I wouldn't have grinded for those outfits anyways.

#FE is just a case of retardation on the localization part because the vast majority of the very small audience interested in it would inevitably be watching them like a hawk for any changes made during translation, and they should've been aware of that.

There are some decent groups.

>tfw no more momoclo-chan

Don't forget the Vampire outfit.

Why didn't you buy Yeng-huas' game?

>censored

>NoA
Atlus localised and censored it actually

>We intentionally left some stuff in, so shut up already!
Only makes them look like bigger bullies.

>Buying a game I can emulate

>buying weebshit
>buying weebshit
>buying idol weebshit
>buying idol weebshit with shitty music
>buying idol weebshit with shitty music that shits on its source material
>buying Nintendo idol weebshit with shitty music that shits on its source material
>buying Nintendo idol weebshit with shitty music that shits on its source material AND censors for my region

>shilling on Cred Forums

>Missing out on a great game (even got 9/10s) because of a few superficial changes
Cucked by the censorshit meme

This is disgusting. Is this what consumerism reduces us too?

I just like cute girls being bullied.

>some stuff
They left 90% of tits in game, retard.

I did. I just did not like it. Shitty, boring plot. Repetetive side quests. No romances. Boring gameplay. Having to fucking go to the dragon bitch all the time...

I usually like games like this.. but I don't know man.

Exactly, no point in changing the rest, especially that wedding dress.
Just what real bullies would do.

>and they should've been aware of that.
They were very aware. NoA didn't want this game to sell because it goes against what they believe is their family friendly image so if it bombs then they can say this type of game doesn't sell and be done with it. If it did sell then they can say their censorship was the reason for its success and keep doing it. Its a win-win for them either way.

Idols are lame

The irony

Because Idols.

Source?

>All this conspiracy head canon
The fuck is wrong with you guys

Because it isn't on PC???

I don't play censored shit.

...

What DO you play? Pretty much everything is censored in some way.

>(even got 9/10's)
Reviews mean nothing you fucking shill.
Also: summed it up partially pretty well.
I wasn't SUPER interested, but since the Wii U's 2016 library is barren, I probably would've picked it up anyways if it weren't for the changes.

I'll probably emulate it one day, but fuck if they're getting my money for it.

>If it did sell then they can say their censorship was the reason for its success
You're going a little too tinfoil there.
The most likely reason is because it was a frontrunner in their 2016 marketing and so they wanted to make sure it didn't "offend/weird-out the masses", since Idol culture is already extremely hard to market to people who aren't huge fucking weebs already.

It baffled me how they could make Itsuki such a boring character and then give him an ending he didn't really earn.

because Tsubaba has no good porn
Nintendo of Burgerland quality translations
an actual SMT game came out which is what I'd better spend my time with

Use your imagination to uncensore the game

Why the fuck Tsubasa doesn't have more art?

>Trying to justify pirating
Nigga just pirate it. Justifying your pirating is literally pathetic. If you want to steal it, fine. Telling Cred Forums your deep and intricate reasons for stealing is something we don't care about.

well because i pirated it with uncensor patch senpai

This

The game wasn't popular enough.

Something is...off about that

Because the game is unpopular even in Japan.

Because I can't fap to Tsubasa even if I tried.

>justify pirating
Don't be so fucking quick to get on your moral high horse.
The only thing I'm justifying is my reason for not buying it.
I'm not in any hurry to play it, legally or not.

>remember when it got announced on April fools
>the shitstorm

But I bought the special edition, tsubasa-chan! It's not my fault!

Not interested in hearing it, enjoy stealing m8

I did a few weeks ago, but never got to playing it.

The american version of the special edition looks better than the europe version for the first time on the WiiU 2bh. We've been beating your asses for years and them TMS comes out and wrecks us

FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYAH
EMBUUUUUUREM

Here's a (You) for your services, valiant internet crusader.

Aha uppity faggot prince

Is it fun? What is it comparable to in terms of gameplay?

I just wanted an SMT and FE crossover like the original trailer vaguely hinted at. I didn't want idolshit.

this

also too many games on my list, no room for a likely mediocre RPG in there.

>Only 41 pics on Pixiv using the tag 織部つばさ
Goddamn

I want to kick her teeth out for giving me such a stupid look

HYYYAGGGH HYYAAAAGGGH

I'LL MAKE A MAN OUT OF YOU YET BOY

What is it about the way they rendered the models in this that makes them look so derpy compared to other psuedo-anime 3d renders? Are the eyes too far apart or something?

Why? Atlus localised it

I agree, america always gets the shittest box art.

Is the European one the "fortissimo edition" package with the hook to hang it in the store?

>he got burned by the Gamecube
I hope you didn't buy a single console after 6th gen then.

The American box is too big.

>Is it fun?
Yes
>What is it comparable to in terms of gameplay?
I guess a slightly more involving Persona w/ Strange Journey elements? Also with actual dungeons with puzzles instead of 10 floors of walking

>Buying a game I can emulate
Still my favorite seasonal meme.

Under Nintendo's supervision.

Yeah, it's utter shit. Looks like the Project Zero 5 box but slightly bigger and with less shit inside it

Pirated the uncensored version, lel.

It was pretty good too.

Source? Atlus even went on record saying they handled all the text and alterations

gamespot.com/articles/tokyo-mirage-sessions-fe-team-talks-atlus-localiza/1100-6441341/

It was censored, and I would never buy another WiiU game after XCX.
With that said, the game was definitely worth pirating, and I wish Atlus did more games like that but with an actual SMT plot.

>Pirating a good game but wanting another game like it
What a shitter

>nintendo still region locks

MUH ANIME TITTIES

Good contribution friend!

>buying a censored artbook
That saddens me more than if you just bought the game regularly.

Better than someone who supports censored localizations.

I doubt it would've gotten a sequel even if it hadn't sold like absolute shit desu.

>Getting upset about what people spend their money on

What's your story? What went wrong in your life that caused you to act like this?

>Getting upset
I said I was sad user, not upset.

>Getting upset about localisation
Wow. You've really fallen hard, Konata.

To be fair why by something that shows concept art and thoughts behind game if they scrap it?
No point in collecting it unless you want comparison between two.

Art books always contain concept and unused art, that's part of the appeal. What is your point?

What? That's the entire point of Art Books. The Xenoblade X one has an entire unused scenario and character outlined, that's why these things are so fun to flick through.

>#FE threads will never be good again
>censorshipfags and people who don't even care about the game will never shut the fuck up

Kill me now senpai

...

The month or so of generals were comfy

Start them again

They were good before?

>Some Atlus USA dog versus the people who actually developed the game
Yeah nah

Thanks for making me import the real artbook back then, I still love you

>Pii U

No thanks, I've already gone through puberty. Have fun, kiddos.

They were too hard to keep bumped and would always die since not that many people posted. I suggested having an occasional thread on Cred Forums every 2 weeks or so but as you can see that doesn't work

Pre-release threads were fucking god tier since the people posting in them weren't bitter faggots

no problem

Literally confirms nothing

I don't own a Wii U.

I was going to buy a Wii U for Tsubasa's game, as well as some other games (but 90% was Tsubasa's game). Then it turned out to be censored. Then I stopped caring. I'll probably never play it if it doesn't come out on other systems, and even then I'd get it used for $10.

>I was going to buy a Wii U for Tsubasa's game

Why are you lying?

Atlus censored it.

You were promised nothing, aspie.
>single trailer that says nothing but "were working on this"
>flashes some stock images from both franchises

>WAAH I WAS PROMISED THIS

>You've really fallen hard, Konata.

But boy I always complained in every thread about censorship in Nintengo games. I'm still mad about the one in Fire Emblems Fates.
Its never acceptable.

Because it was censored.

Like SMT if SMT wasnt boring horseshit.

Yet.

youtube.com/watch?v=hrsYd4PluZk

JESUS CHRIST KILL IT

FUCKING KILL IT

Shitposters intuition, namely the fact that Nintendo published the game instead of Atlus, they likely funded the games development, so of course they would want to oversee development

Someone dump lewds of Tsubasa on the pink outfit. Those titty cups make me go INSANE, but I can never find enough lewds of it

Did you ever beat Lunatic or MDEUS?

So...no proof? ; )

Holy fuck, epilepsy mode engaged.

P-PC WINS AGAIN!!

i-it's a beta

You know it baby.

I just find the changes weird though, Persona 4 seemed more racey in comparison to TMS, but that still managed to get an M-rating on the Vita of all things. Heck weebshit in general is able to get away with a lot more than usual.

>sonyfriends butthurt that their PS4 Pro isn't getting an emulator, never, ever, ever
keep it coming boys

what was censored about it anyways?

These.

Because Tsubasa looks like an autistic retard.

google is your friend

Too much to explain. Mostly outfits, a bit of story, some player choices, cut DLC, some character backstories. Most of it really unneccessary.

Oh man, I've already gotten to Medeus on my Lunatic run, I'm just currently doing some very autistic mega grinding.

First I'm forging every characters Carnage all to +9(every single one, that's about 136 total if I remember right) just for the sake of doing it and for getting everyones skills to +9 or whatever their cap is. I'm already in the middle of capping their +5s.

Then after that I'm going to abuse the ever loving shit out the wild hunter DLC dungeon to farm Detritus like crazy and trade in enough stat boosters to get every persons stats up to 999(even something useless like giving Kiria 999 strength or Toma 999 magic).

Then after that, I'm going to spam the legendary rank arena till I get enough War Testaments to make everyones ultimate Carnage up to +9, which would require 70 War Testaments or a fuckton of arena grinding(which will be quicker with high stats)

Then once I'm done with that, I'll fight M-Deus. And I'll finally have 100% completion of the game, all awards and trophies and all items/accessories too

Then after that I'll still need to do two more runs of the game in order to screenshot every appearance Tharja makes but as Sage/Sorcerer.

If I can marry her I'll do it right now in fact.

If that was your goal, you are better off not asking those people whom you don't want a bait question to start a fucking thread.
"Let's have a thread about game" would have done perfectly fine.

Then why were previous and future Mainline SMT games not censored but this one was?

Jesus christ, just use a save file modifier to do most of that instead of mindless grinding.

>Then why were previous and future Mainline SMT games not censored but this one was?
But they were user.

Problem is the threads that start off not shitposty always die or devolve into this anyway. The people who are angry about the game seem to be able to talk all day about it

I tried, couldn't get it to work since I'm using the regular non pirated JP version. It doesn't matter, I've already come this far, it'll only take maybe a week or so to get to the 999 stats part, then arena grinding shouldn't take that long either.

My waifu gives me strength.

I don't support censorship. Give me what the creators intended or get fucked.

Christ this shit again

>3 outfits changed (bikini's to other stuff)
>A chapter was localised away from gravure modelling to something else because it didn't make sense in the west
>3 DLC costumes were cut as a result of a DLC cutscene being removed

The creators intended for you to play their game in their language after growing up in their country.

If that's truly your excuse, stop playing english localisations because it obviously goes against your creed of fucking conduct or something

>My waifu gives me strength.
I hope I'll be able to love someone the way you love Tharja one day. I really do.

I'd love to but N is being a pain in the ass so any copy of any of their games costs me a kidney

Isn't TMS like £30?

Show me.

gravure modelling is a thing in the west too.

>stop playing english localisations
But that's exactly what I did, nigger-kun.

You'll get there one day

>B-B-But it was Atlus who censored it! NoA had nothing to do with it!
Yeah, and that's why it's the only Atlus game to have been given a significant rewrite since the original Persona, and one of only two Atlus games to be censored since the original Persona. NoA publishing certainly had nothing to do with it, just like they had nothing to do with Bravely Second's changes, despite Atlus reps saying then that the changes were made because of NoA too.

Good for you lad. A weeb that actually learned Japanese.

The context is different. I was chatting to a friend about it and we came to the conclusion that a western equivalent to a music idol going to gravure modelling would be something akin to a Disney star doing a swimsuit magazine shoot. Not over controversial, but for fans of the Disney star it ruins the illusion.

>Atlus reps
Square-Enix reps, even.

no interest

>Strawman argument

Dropped like a baby.

>tempted to play through all the mainline Pokemon games before SM comes out
>spending too much time with #FE

There's nothing wrong with pineapple on pizza

But that's exactly what people have been saying.

Your conclusion was wrong.
The equivalent would be Nickie Minaj-ish booty shaking because all western "idols" are huge sluts. And no one dares complain about that or that it's almost porn because she's an oh so talented artist.

In comparison to that idols doing gravure are pure saints. It sickens me that anyone even thought of censoring that.

you're a tripfag and that makes you wrong

thought I love hawaiian pizzas and those who don't have shit taste

You're wrong because the context is entirely different, as well as the fanbase.

Nicki Minaj doesn't have a dedicated all ages fanbase who respect her for her ability to be modest and not have partners. She's KNOWN for being sluttish.

That's exactly where the controversy in idol culture lies and them going to gravure modeling ruins the illusion of purity. There's nothing in the west akin to that here, except maybe a Disney star (never shown to have any kind of sexuality in their media) suddenly doing a shoot that is centered ON their sexuality.

>There's nothing in the west akin to that here, except maybe a Disney star (never shown to have any kind of sexuality in their media) suddenly doing a shoot that is centered ON their sexuality.
So ... Miley Cyrus?

Yes, exactly. Miley Cyrus dropped her facade and completely changed her image, alienating her younger/original fanbase for an older/new fanbase. That's the equivalent.

I'm not sure how they could have done that in the game without changing the characters completely

So basically Britney Spears being this sweet cute blonde girl in a Disney TV show and then becoming a massive whore on the 2000s?

>except maybe a Disney star (never shown to have any kind of sexuality in their media) suddenly doing a shoot that is centered ON their sexuality.

this is a basic career move for disney stars

FAAAAIIIIIYAAA EMBUUUUUREEEEMU

>I'm not sure how they could have done that in the game without changing the characters completely
How about they didn't change them at all because the game isn't set in America. Learning about an other culture is forbidden or what?

Now you guys are getting it.

Now, how could that have been put in to TMS without outright changing the characterisation of all their characters? Tsubasa in particular somehow remains her usual idol self after doing the shoot, which is strange as fuck

That's another way of doing it, yes, but wouldn't that require fans that don't know what Gravure modelling is, why it's controversial, etc, to then stop playing and research the subject..? For some people that might be fine, but if a game's story requires you to stop playing to look in to a niche part of another culture then it's probably done their job wrong.

Hopefully this teaches them a lesson about censorship but probably not.

It's not just about it being set in another country, it's set with another culture in mind, yes, but the context is completely different and wouldn't carry over. In the same way that several words and phrases don't translate well to English, the whole context of gravure modelling wouldn't carry over

If they are fans of an idol game they would know what it is, and even if they didn't they would understand it as the game plays out because there's a whole chapter revolving around it.
People aren't as stupid as you think they might be.

They literally changed the Chapter 2 or 3 because it was "too rapey" for the western fanbase.
Basically the villain in that chapter is a photographer of idols in bikini, and the whole chapter is about Tsubasa showing "her true self" by wearing sexy bikinis and doing slutty poses for the photos. And they turned the whole thing into a hip hop street style shit.
Its comical, really.

What a fucking loser, kill yourself faggot.

So this is what a #FE fan looks like.

>If they are fans of an idol game they would know what it is
It's not "an idol game" it's a JRPG with idols as a backdrop, in the same way that, for example, SMTIV is a JRPG with Tokyo as a backgroup. SMTIV requires not only tertiary knowledge of Tokyo to play well, but even knowledge of districts, areas, Japanese folklore, and a mess of other crap to play well. Getting lost in Tokyo was a ridiculously common complaint of early SMTIV threads because the localisation assumed you knew about the man districts.

I guess it depends how far the localisation team is going to let you go without having to do extra research. Could be a case of people looking up idol culture getting ready to buy the game, but when they're thrown in to the Gravure situation in Chapter 2 and we're left with no context as to WHY a singer doing a model shoot is a bit deal and slightly controversial then, like the SMTIV localisers, they've failed that aspect of localisation.

But I did. The especial edition, no less.

It'll only tell them that you fucking pieces of shit don't want JRPGs. Good job, assholes.

See
There's a reason for it m8

I don't want JRPGs if they are gonna censor them, that's just insulting

So it's wrong to try and teach people about something, just assume "they couldn't get it anyway" and go on replace it with "our" culture for the entire rest of the globe.
That's a bit demeaning.

>I don't want JRPGs if they're not filled with pointless fanservice, because that's the reason why people love JRPGs

Your stupidity is the only insulting thing here, mate.

Hashtag

It cant teach without outright adding scenarios to teach, because it would require outside research from the player. Thats not teaching, it's giving the player a roadblock in not understanding the story

>It'll only tell them that you fucking pieces of shit don't want JRPGs.
No, seriously, I'd love it if Nintendo Treehouse stopped butchering good JRPGs. Just take the fucking region lock off their consoles and let us import, jesus christ.
Its already a trend for jap devs to put english subtitled options for their jap releases, its literally just backwards ass nintendo preventing people from importing.
I don't give a fuck if they don't bring the games over. They aren't doing anything positive by releasing these """""localizations""""""

If you see it as pointless, well, you can just go fuck yourself. It's part of the game, there's no reason why I shouldn't be able to enjoy it the same way a Japanese guy does.

>butchering
Ah there it is

If you can read Japanese then buy a goddamned Japanese system. I don't even know what's your point.

>no argument
ah there it is
I can't read japanese. If you were actually literate you'd notice I said that jap devs are putting english subtitle options in their jap releases. Some recent examples are DOA and Gundam Breaker 3

>they've failed that aspect of localisation.
I think they failed the moment they took a U-turn instead of trying to find a plausible equivalent.
Also, if by any change they have to make edits they should put an option in the menu that allows the player to choose which version he likes better. Same as guro on/off switches.

That's the only way to make all customers happy.

Except nobody enjoyed any of the things they changed in the first place because they were completely inconsequential as fuck. Keep missing the point.

TMS is literally just all about fanservice.

>omg how could you guys possibly care about something that I don't care about ugh I am literally so triggered right now ugh omg

Just keep telling me what I value isn't important at all, that will sure get me seeing your side of things.

Fucking idiot, kill yourself.

>European version is uncensored
>American version gets butchered as per usual
Why can't we have more like Awakening? Fuck americans for living in a cuck culture.

>Also, if by any change they have to make edits they should put an option in the menu that allows the player to choose which version he likes better
Elaborate here. How would this have helped getting Chapter 2 over

Oh, yeah, just because they put English text in those 2 extremely niche games that have barely any text at all in them to begin with it means they'll fucking translate entire JRPGs just so you can import them. Jesus fuck, you're an idiot.

I've heard Summer Lesson is getting english sub option in the jap release as well, not sure if its true though.
>just spend $300 on a console you already own just so you can play one game on it
lmao

>I liked this game therefore I have to defend everything about it including the pointless censorship
Why do people, specifically Nintenpigs, think like this?

nintendo fans are autistic and have no concept of nuance, its all or nothing deal for them

What you value isn't important at fucking all indeed. If you really value that over anything else in a videogame, then you're just pathetic.

>lalalala I'm a nintendrone and nintendo never makes bad localizations

>lacks reading comprehension
>lmao
Fuck off, please.

There's moving the goalposts, and then there's your post. Good job.

You shouldn't have to in this day and age, after the PSP all Sony consoles are region free, with the exception being that devs could add locks if they so care to.

Heck I want to say even the 360 was region free, even the GBA/early DS line up were region free.

First, they translate the whole game as faithfully as possible.
Then they make their tiny edits here and there whereever they think it's neccessary.

Then, add an option to the menu:
Text -> Localized/Translated

Of course this would also revert all the censorship done to the game.

If they want more people to buy the game they should put in effort instead of alienating a certain group.

>It'll only tell them that you fucking pieces of shit don't want JRPGs.
If they want my money they shouldn't be delivering a botched localization. Not paying for a subpar product.

> buying a game for a literal retard
Just look at her fucking face. She already looks like her brain went missing years ago.
You either buy this for Touma and Kiria or fuck off.

There is absolutely nothing to defend in the censorship.
Then again, there is absolutely no defending the standpoint that the game is shit only because it was censored.

I'd rather play BoI than support further censorship, you goddamn cuck. I'd rather have no geimu than a cucked geimu.

>>A chapter was localised away from gravure modelling to something else because it didn't make sense in the west
Just like Fatal Frame 5, did they ruin the chapter by making it nonsensical? Because they did in FF5.

Not giving Atlus OR Neotendo money. Neither deserve it.

>just because they changed 2 lines it's a botched localization
Of course. As I said, good job missing out on one of the best JRPGs this gen for such a stupid and baseless reason.

I don't have a wiiu.

Sonia> all other sluts

Grow up, please.

Whats funny is that when BoI was originally meant to come to 3DS Nintendo wouldn't allow it because of it's religious themes.

Says a lot about the company when they're practically as censor happy as they were in the 90s.

No? Being a manchild is the thing to do these days and that means enjoying all kinds of fanservice. If you don't like it I suggest you end feminism and give me a wife.

Literally the only worthwhile post in this thread.

>implying anyone on Cred Forums is unironically defending censorship
It more people arguing semantics, as well as how fanservice censorship is the only relevant kind that Cred Forums gets upset about

I did and it was pretty boring. Why play Persona 3.5 when I can play 5 right now?

I bought a sealed collector's edition for fairly cheap. Will sell it once Wii U nostalgia kicks in a few years from now, similar to what happened with the gamecube.

>There's a reason for it m8

Nigga they can find any excuse to explain censorship, but they have to understand not everyone that play those games are children or people who want that shit censored.

Lets say a japanese game has a scene where two towers get destroyed by a plane. Then they censor that scene because americans wont like it.
But what about the other western countries? What about the very american people who wouldnt give a shit about that?
Are those people supposed to accept it and get less content for that?
Fuck no. I dont care how fucking offensive the content is, I don't like my games censored.
Thank God right now I can pirate those censored Nintendo games and dont need to give them a single penny for it.

Correction: They turned it into a BAD hip-hop street style. Still pretty hilarious, especially Maiko's outfit.

That reminds me. German TV didn't air an entire Dragonball episode when I was younger because a school shooting happened a day before that and one of the villagers in the episode has a gun for like 20 seconds.

Worthless idolshit garbage that tries to be Persona Lite.
It's completely different from what was teased in the announcement of the Fire Emblem and SMT project.

Yeah I remember watching some censored tv anime back in the days, but it wasnt as bad as today.
Those Dragon Ball episodes with Bulma for example.

Get fucked.
>and then I looked something they mentioned up, it was horrible. How dare a game get me to learn new things

A visual novel called Remember11 got me into Carl Jung.
Touhou got me reading up on Taoism.
VtMB had me reading WoD.

There is nothing wrong with giving people incentives to learn.

I will buy NX version.

>it wasnt as bad as today
That's true. At one point Germany totally lost their shit when it came to anime, around the time they brought over GT and Naruto.
Wouldn't know about now, but I assume they are still doing it.

TV in general is worse. Atleast in the 90s we could all joke about eachother without consequences, everyone shrugged it of or laughed with it. Now people look to be offended.
Or worse, want propaganda in childrens shows.
>Be Britbong
>Hear A Midsummer Nights Dream is being made by the BBC for kids
>They added several gay romances, even killing off a character to enable a lesbian ship
Fuck TV.

Almost no one is watching TV anymore, so they have to make due with funding money. Of course those people will only fund them if they air their propaganda shows.

This one?
