you can leave at rest station by press R1. if you want to leave in the middle of dungeon you have to use item. it's Goho-m in english version. kaeri or kaeru something in jap. it's item with smiling ball symbol.(crafted item/tool)

Well that's surprising. I still think importing a fucking 3ds is more hassle than buying an online code and copying it over to the psn site. Not wanting to limit myself to one region is the reason I don't have a 3DS in the first place.

Importing a handheld is not that big of a deal compared to an actual console, but yeah the region locking sucks.

Final dungeon is in December on Christmas. Hence why the nickname for the game is How Satan Saved Christmas.

You can max all coops in your first run though but it's incredible tight because the first couple dungeons you won't be able to do in one run(one of them forces you out halfway through), story content forces you to stay in at night on some days making it hard to do night coops and stat raising, and the majority of coops need a max stat to finish.

There's no super duper secret dungeon either so don't worry about fucking up the last day. The difference between the good end and true end is the presence of one character.

I was always pretty worried about limiting myself to Japanese games only by buying a Japanese 3DS, but with how doable Persona has been so far I'm feeling a lot more confident. Maybe I'll get one, or just buy one here and hack it.
