Dedede is just a few pegs under Kirby in that regard. Dedede in the Kirby games is rarely a slouch in a fight, the only notable example being his fight in Squeak Squad.

If Kirby is all-round and Metaknight is skill, then Dedede is raw power. And since he fights Dark Metaknight in Triple Deluxe, you could argue he's higher on the Kirby tier list than Metaknight, who lost to him in Amazing Mirror.

Eh, it only took me about 2-3 hours to get the last of the stickers after I already got all the golden ones and beat Story mode 100%. And even then I was just replaying levels I liked. The fact the game actually tells you which golden stickers are where was a godsend. Fucking TD.

Yes its actually quite perfect, you basically get the entirety of classic Kirby, the Sakurai games that defined the series (Dream Land, Adventure, Super Star) and the Dark Matter trilogy (Dream Land 2, Dream Land 3, Kirby 64). You'll also get a nice taste of the modern games with the challenge stages on Return to Dream Land's engine.

After Dream collection you'll have a lot to look at, but the current style of mainline games starts with Return to Dream Land, then Triple Deluxe and finally Planet Robobot. These take heavily after Super Star in terms of Kirby's gameplay but each have their unique gimmicks along the way. They have a lot of references to older titles and have been expanding the lore (yes, Kirby has lore) heavily, so they're best appreciated if you've at least played the classics, Robobot specially.

Even the regular enemies have great animation. Triple Deluxe's behind the scenes did a post on it:
