No option to change to face button acceleration and brake makes it automatically worse.

Something about the classic control scheme is too good.

Open world maps killed the burnout series, like cancer it infected a perfectly amazing organism and destroyed it from the inside out. Anyone who says paradise is a good game is a fucking piece of shit as far as I'm concerned because they support the rape and murder of a once amazing franchise.

I recently played Burnout Dominator for the first time in years and the 'Burnout' boosting system is annoying the shit out of me. Is this in the other Burnouts? I can't remember.

AFAIK It *might* also be in Burnout 2, and in Paradise as Speed Boost.

It's not that, in Dominator the boosting is weird. You have to do it continuously to get any sort of multiplier or something like that. I recently played Legends too and that's the boost system I was used to.

I'm a pretty big tardo with shit reflexes (there's a lot of twitch reflex games that I'm unable to play) and I was able to finish all of these games. I think the series has the best balance between twitch and regular arcade racing.

I at least get 60 fps using emulators.

The whole premise of open world devoured itself. Open world is fucking shit. The nicest thing I have to say about the open world implementation is seeing a new car zipping past me made me want to floor it, chase him, and pound it in the rear end to unlock the car. That was moderately interesting.
