Fernando, Makoa, Ruckus, Skye and Viktor are the only characters worth playing, minor mentions to Barik and Bomb King in the right hands. But I can carry with just Viktor or Skye. Only times I lose is if the other team stacks Fernando/Makoa and Barik just because people are so stupid they never take shield damaging items and I cant solo all those shields at once.

I played LoL for a couple of years when that first came out as well, made it to plat in S3 and then got bored until I finally got my hands on a Dota 2 beta key which had me hooked immediately. I knew right away that the genre wasn't going to get any better from there so I stuck with it and here I am 6,000 hours and 5.5k MMR later.

I'm still waiting for that. Overwatch is without a doubt the LoL of its genre with TF2 being like Dota Allstars or something. I had fun playing OW for a month or so but it got stale way too quickly. I'm just going to wait merrily until a game is released that actually has depth and is balanced and built around high level competitive play instead of being as casual as possible in order to appeal to a wider playerbase.

There are some nifty classes in Paladins, but you'll have to unlock many of them through gameplay (maybe 2 hours per hero?) or purchase.

The beauty of this game is that you can build a loadout that makes her viable without her scope. In theory, anyway.

I actually do push it. It's fucking easy to push the payload with a sniper when you can throw three mines that slow down the enemy team and hit them constantly. Besides, my normal shooting is powerful, too, and my Ult is extremely retarded so I hit everything.

I usually play Viktor although I got bored at level 10. Viktor is OP as fuck and takes down shield in no time, in a game with lots of defenders I just stack shield damage upgrades.

Skye is OP as fuck as well and usually the only one that ruins my streaks. Getting flanked and then nailed with 3000 poison bolts in 2 seconds isn't fun. The ult is complete horseshit as well.

I've never seen someone run Barik in a good way and I think he sucks bad. Shit damage, shit shield and the turret does jack shit either. Viktor takes that thing out in half a second.

Other then that tf2 is popular for 2 reasons, it has a surprisingly high skill ceiling, something that scares overwatch players to death, and its trading economy. If you played overwatch for an extended amount of time, you wil feel a huge moba vibe. When theres 2 whole class of heroes focused on not actually shooting people and are purely for the sake of tanking and pushing, you can hardly consider the game to be a traditional team shooter. I played this game for like 4 years for 2000hrs. I met plenty of players like me that started around the same time and became a admin on a few servers. I rejoined that same server after buying overwatch and the new blood at the time that was a regular player that was pretty terrible that I taught to rocket jump was now an admin with 1500 hrs and asked me if overwatch is worth switching over.
Community has the same number of players, and scrubs of today are the veterans of tomorrow.
Meanwhile people like you sit and insult others having fun because you are the finest example of the community. Honestly, any game you play has the downside of you being there at that point.

It's not some "Drag character to you, kill him, go kill other people" weapon, it's supposed to be crowd control; something literally every team PVP game should have. The ult is also stronger and moves, unlike winstons. Besides many other charcters have shields, makoa just got the dome.
