How bad is the Victor/Gallon match up?
I know Victor is bottom tier, but wasn't one of the good points of Vampire Savior the fact every character has good match ups and is viable to some extend?

Vampire Savior is "balanced" enough to where more people play bottom-tier characters like Victor and Anakaris than they do higher tiers like Fish. Obviously pic related isn't a precise sample of the entire community, but I do find it odd given how rare Fish players are for how high he's ranked (top 5).

I only stick with a low tier when I really like the character (Q from third strike, Tager BlazBlue). Most of the time I just pick a high or god tier to learn the game.

Just within the last couple years Savior had a 130 person tournament and Hunter had a 110 person tournament. And that's with little overlap between the two. And how many people play it now is irrelevant to the fact that in its heyday it was commercially more successful than SF3, SFEX, Cyberbots, Red Earth, Rival Schools, Power Stone, Star Gladiator, and Tech Romancer.
