New to this, bought the game because it had fucking Streets of Rage characters.

I would love this game if it weren't for the excessive weeb factor. The whole premise of the series seems to be that every OC on either side just wants to fuck each other like its a "How to Draw Manga" style webcomic.

Thankfully you get to a point where to can basically opt out all the characters you hate, and the core gameplay is pretty fun, but its hard to imagine I'll play another one of these unless the roster gets more godlike choices like Segata.

Yes. Gameplay still isn't amazing by any stretch of the word, but alot more tolerable than before. The fanservice is extremely high so the interactions and stuff are fun even if you're not familiar with all of the characters in it.

There's more connection with NamcoXCapcom than PXZ1. You can get enough of the story from reading the in game encyclopedia as it unlocks.

There are minor connections, but just small references and stuff. The main characters in PxZ1 aren't even present in PxZ2, and only mentioned once. The first PxZ can honestly be a fucking drag in terms of gameplay and generally had to be played over a long span of time to even be enjoyed.

As someone who got PxZ1 to prepare for PxZ2, it's not worth it. Skipping to PxZ2 unless there are some characters in PxZ1 that you want to get some more exposure for is the right choice.

That mission was easy as sin. Just use ZOC to block her off from Bison.
It also helps if you give them proper gear for the mission.

The problem is that most of my other characters are really overpowered and have a high chance of killing her, so if I want to make sure Yuri or Flynn do it, I have to leave her with at least less then half health, but I still have to clear the way of the enemies, but that takes a while because even with my overpowered units, they take forever to kill
