I went in completely blind, with about as open a mind as I can muster. All I know about the game is it's supposed to be creative/clever with its use of video games a platform, like The Stanley Parable, and that's what people love so much about it. So far that's only happened once and the rest of the game has been a borefest.

It sounds like its not for you, but then again you haven't reached anything extremely memorable yet. Its hard to comment on anything without ruining it or leaving you blind and letting you do something you might not enjoy any of. If you like Earthbound and aren't from Cred Forums then keep playing

The ironic thing is pretty much everyone on Cred Forums loved the game when it first came out, I got it like 3 days later because everyone recommended it even if visually it looked pretty simple, and I liked it a lot back then. 2 weeks later the game became popular thanks to Youtube and as much as you hate to hear it, thanks to its quality, and it became a meme to hate it.

It's been like this off and on since like 2 weeks after the game's release.

Its a very good ten dollar game put together by a small group but mostly one guy who wanted to poke fun at the tropes of RPGs. Your preconceived notions of the game are gonna ruin it for you. And if you hate the characters just do a genocide route

I liked what it did and was super into it for like a month, then when the hype wore off I realized that it's mostly just strong writing over really weak gameplay. It's still alright, but I'd give it more of a 6/10.
