Hit quick load instead of quick save

>hit quick load instead of quick save

That's nowhere near as bad as hitting quicksave instead of quickload.

>hit quickload instead of load and have to sit thru a long ass loading screen

This so fucking much.

>Max Payne 1
>quicksave
>0,1 seconds later I get headshotted
>15 minutes later find the only nanomillimeter proof way of surviving without instantly dying

That was an intense moment as my only save was like an hour before. Never felt more alive than surviving that horror.

>hit quick save instead of quick load

>and that was your only save

>max payne 2
>quicksave while falling off the window cleaner's lift

>playing FO:NV Honest Hearts
>Yao Guai mission
>game autosaved while standing outside the cave with the detonator in hand
>right as two Yao Guai are charging at me

fpbp

>in a rush/lack of sleep/high/drunk
>spam loading screen
>old school game with no warnings or "are you sure?"
>save over or delete an ungodly amount of gametime

>Don't realise there's an enemy behind me
>Think it's safe and quicksave
>Die immediately afterwards
>Each time I quickload I'm immediately killed with no time to react
>Stuck in a permanent loop of failure

>accidentally quick save right when a guard is spotting me in human revolution while doing a non-lethal playthrough

fug :-D

This is why you gotta be constantly creating new saves as well as quick saving.

>don't look up
>quicksave while getting pulled into a whirligig

Why don't more games have 2-3 quicksave slots?

>playing Oblivion
>level 14
>quicksave, go on town rampage for heck of it
>quickload
>accidental quicksave
>last manual save is back at level 3

Reload your save at the sewer grate, you were probably built wrong anyways

>name 1 (one) game where this happens

EVERY GAME SHOULD HAVE AN INTERVAL SAVE OF 5 MINUTES WITH UP TO 3 SAVES

run to the shivering isles and never look back

I dont feel well just by reading this

>last manual save is back at level 3
what the fuck man

Do you want the game to run user?

>didn't make a save at the sewer gate when I first played

no

>Researched how to make a gud character
>Nord axe bastard bashing heads and sanic fast running

>oblivion
>assassin DB missions with advanced vampirism for the challenge/role-play opportunity
>save on wait active just in case
>wait in clever spot between houses in shadow for target
>fuck this is taking forever, lets speed it up
>engage wait
>notice sun and hear ungodly shriek and sizzle noise
>instant death when time resumes
>ok, I'll just load my old save
>corrupted xbone saves
>even sewer grate save corrupt
and I haven't played any TES games since

>leveling
You do realise its best done lvl 1 right?

BUT user a quest requires you to sleep so you'll be at lvl 2

Just ignore dark bro and boat till after everything else is done, its simple
Best way to finish game is to just ignore everyone but essential kills

Which one would you say is rarer, multiple quicksave slots or being able to pause a cutscene and choosing to skip it or not?

Nowadays it's probably the former. Both should really be standard features.

You have to be a minimum level to attempt certain quests like the daedra ones so you might as well just level.
