CK has the issue where his illusions can be shredded like paper in counter initiation, because of the way EHP of illusions scale.
Unless he gets stupidly far ahead, and get something like Manta + Octarine + Skadi, then they are stupidly sturdy.

CK is amazing, but he can be countered with positiong and aoe spells.

Ck is shit at farming, that is his main problem.

Destiny is only that high because of hardcore fuccbois KingGothalion and ProfessorBroman.

You can't figure it out? CK's ult time gets reduced by 32.5 seconds. That's 32.5 seconds less you spend without your illusions. That's a little less than a minute of downtime, down from 130 seconds. On a hero with illusions that deal fucking 100% of damage compared to the hero.

On a hero who already has a minuscule mana pool and needs all it can use to cast his relatively costly spells? Refresher could easily kill your ability to even cast a Reality Rift in the middle of a fight. It's 650 mana burned in a split second.

Depends what kind of teammates you have and what lane you are at. Personally, I like putting early points into Dragon Blood so it'll allow me to stay in lane even through harassment and farm those items I mentioned, unless the lane favors me and I have a good support, in which case I'll max out Breathe Fire to farm heroes.

Dragon Tail should always have one point (and no more until much later) put into it for the easy stun.

He goes from being a hero crippled by cooldowns, to being a legitimate pain because all his uptime increases are insane.

Chaos Bolt goes from 40% to 60% uptime
Reality Rift on 4.5 second cooldown
Downtime decrease on his ultimate is whatever.
But here is the big kicker: Manta only has a downtime of 2 seconds with Octarine. And because he actually benefits from that permanent uptime, he becomes stupid to deal with.

Refresher doesn't benefit Manta style as much. Nor does it grant you so much EHP.
If you could lifesteal of illusion damage with Octa, it would be THE BEST ITEM™
