I'll be honest, all I'm hearing are boops and beeps.
Holy shit, I'm amazed the SNES was capable of doing music like that.
I like this thread but I have nothing to contribute
>Thinly veiled Tim Follin thread
I can't say I mind, honestly
Literally every track itt sounds like tangerine dream
yo, the entire Waterworld SNES ost is fucking sick
Most of the Biker Mice from Mars OST was good.

Jokes aside, the gameboy had a shit soundchip, a very acquired taste. If I have to bat for the gameboy then I'm rockin'.

weird seeing a track from some forgotten licensed game getting attention for allegedly inventing a genre - grime, years before it ever took off
This song was made by the composer for one of the mini-games, believe it or not.
Never ceases to get me grooving:
what the fuck am i listening to
Something that shouldn't exist

Sounds like a SMT battle theme
Not unusual at all but fuck I need an excuse to post this

One of the comments:
>It sounds like someone is literally cumming in my ears when he jumps
I am crying with laughter.

>one of the best platform games of ever

Electronic, new age, lounge
This is fucking awesome. I honestly have trouble believing this came from an SNES game.

Ecco is the definition of 'unusual'.
>buy random shmup on steam
>expect a good soundtrack like every other shmup
>get this: youtube.com
I always expect great music from this genre of games, but holy shit I wasn't expecting anything that awesome. The entire game's soundtrack is fantastic all the way through as well.
No one has posted this yet?

Now this is podracing
Drawing game is way too fucking good for a goddamn puzzle game.
My shitty phone can't post youtube links so do yourselves a favor and look up Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel SNES. Pick any song from that ost and thank me later.
Sure, this game was crap, but the soundtrack was great. It matched the style of the game perfectly, being bombastic and energetic like a classic cartoon.

I'm the only person that has ever played this game.
Genuine jungle/ drum & bass artist from Japan doing a soundtrack for a monkey anime. Shouldn't fit but it does.
Might just be more impressive to us here in the UK as this genre came from here and has been relevant as dance music for a long time.
...
it's now a classic but still. it was incredible to hear that back then
youtube.com
Aww yess. I bought a copy just because I wanted to hear the music coming out of my SNES.
youtube.com
it lasts 30 sec but it's catchy
Of course it's good as one of the Follin brothers composed it, but holy shit, you wouldn't expect a Thomas the Tank Engine game to have such good music.

>unusually good
>Advance Wars
It's not "unusually good" if the franchise is known for good music.
Needs more fucking Star Fox up in this bitch,
Even with the original I still can't unhear the high quality rip version
>soundtracks
>posts a cover

Honestly, I just wanted a chance to post Advance Wars music; been binging on the soundtracks the past few days.
