Most XV characters have light hair and eyes and even Lucis, the most Jap-themed place in XV, uses English more than Japanese (though some characters like Noctis are canonically bilingual). It's pretty obvious most characters are supposed to look Western or mixed at best.

Pro version is likely just going be a very slight boost with all the focus being on upscaling to 4K.

Pro is going to end up disappointing a lot of people I think, as most devs will likely slap 4K upscaling on games and call it a day.

I think we'll likely only see games stick to 1080p/stable 30fps for a tiny bit longer on the Pro, if devs even bother at all, while the OG PS4 games stay at 900p/30fps with dips, or something like that.

4k upscaling is the default behaviour for games who do not have pro-specific settings.
For FFXV, it just makes it look not like shit in 1080p.
