Basically. You get to borrow your friends powers (Commands). Some of the later ones are especially useful. Always level them up when you can.

It basically changes your commands to those inspired by the character to whom your linking with.

In addition upgrading Dlinks from wayfinders enemies drop during Dlinks will give you up to 2 passive effects. This will also give you better commands. Some Dlinks have really good effects like Drain (Maleficent) and Haste (Ventus). The portrait of the Dlink will also change.

There's an 2x Exp dlink but Terra doesn't get it to compound on how fucking awful Terra is.

They don't really have or give extra EXP except for the one I told you that has a double exp effect and Terra doesn't get that.

Also, play the Command Board mini game when you can. It's invaluable to the beginning of the game and you can get some good commands from it plus a couple shotlocks.

I second this, the command board drags on but even just the first board gives some god tier commands for early game taht you can meld into some good shit.

Because we really feel for poor Stitchers here, struggling to understand the concept of love and family, while we see Lilo and Nani have fun while also contemplating their volatile, unstable lives. We also see them be a genuinely happy sibling pair despite how often they start tearing at each other's metaphorical throats as Stitch slowly tries to join in but is mostly ignored, left out or not but seen as an anomaly while he feels even more alien than he already is.

It makes it very hard to not wish the absolute best for all three of them and to not want to hug Stitchers to death, even though I like Reuben the most

Additionally, after two movies and god knows how many episodes of the series I cheered in my seat when Reuben finally joins Lilo's team with Gantu shortly behind him. I always understood that they were punch clock villains and nothing more. The fact that only minutes after Lilo and Reuben forge a friendship the wind is taken out of Lilo's sails and Reuben genuinely feels sorry for her made me feel real warm inside.

Chest commands will get you through the game no problem, it's just that using the command board can net you good commands before even taking a step in the first didney worl. Command boards are mostly optional but it's a somewhat rewarding minigame if you like monopoly.
