Battlerite

Who's the best hero and why is it Freya?

hell yeah buddy

How balanced are the heroes in this game?

Do any stand out as bullshit op?

Its pretty difficult to tell so early in, what seems op now could just be easy to play and not so great later, but no, nothing seems like I couldn't learn a way around it at this point.

There's one healer (Poloma) who overperforms compared to other healers, and two other heroes (Rook and Lucie) are considered to be underpowered

aside from that the game is really well balanced, much more so than stuff like MOBAs or WoW arena

Just bought it

It's great

I loved Bloodline Champions back then, but it was badly promoted and had serious optimization problems for what it was

This one is pretty fun because it's almost a port with better play and controls

It just needs the overkill effect back in and i'm hooked.

Balance is pretty solid, some players are just really damn good.

The only standouts are poloma who is OP healer and lucie who is bad at the upper levels.

>Giving Poloma a Battlerite that makes her Pixie do equal healing and damage to her

I like her but her ult is basically pointless compared to Pixie, which is absurdly fucking good

...

>160 games
>all of them with Ashka
Freya a shit

long time dota player here
will i enjoy this?

Is Lucie bad? I know her escape costs energy, but I get some people saying she is good and some saying she is bad

its not like Dota, its WoW arena with Dota's camera

>needs the overkill effect back

I never played BLC, what is that? Like an extra spectacular kill if you use something like an ult on them when they're low?

Its more like a top down wow arena than dota

so are there just no priority targets in this game?

It's the thing I find hardest when I'm playing, I feel like I should kill the healer but they're so fucking difficult to kill if they don't panic.

When you passed a certain treshhold of damage in the last hit the enemy fucking exploded in blood. It's just a little detail that stuck in people's minds because it was spectacular.

Imagine playing gunslinger and crutching the last stand. You aim the RMB Cannon and pierce the enemy dealing massive damage. Instead of falling and ragdolling it exploded and left a mark of blood in the ground. That shit was satisfactory as fuck.

I struggle with that too. You just have to hit the same target. Healers not always the best option

It's a Git Gud thing.

>Git gud problems 101

I assume it depends on level of play. I rarely see focus in my placement matches, but I assume people do it at higher levels

you hit whoever overextends

melee wastes their gap closer to jump in? you gangbang them

ranged misses his counter? kill him

So is a support a must in duos? Thats all i see in these tournament matches, even when its not a poloma

WHERE IS METAL WARDEN

WHERE IS THE THORN

I NEED THEM

I LOVED THEM

Harbinger and Seeker are getting added in 3-4 weeks

warden and thorn are probably coming after them, so maybe 3 weeks after that

>Character with healer abilities is a girl instead of a cute boy
