I went to a local con once holding a myriad of fighting tourneys and it was hilarious. Not only was Smash segregated to its own special room way on the other side of the con, but the room smelled rancid and one of the Smash babbies ended up completely annihilating the control stick of a GC controller in a fit of rage.

I decided not too long ago that I wanted to make a go at either competitive Smash or Street Fighter, and I'm so glad I chose the latter.

as someone that played competitively for 3 years and just quit, smash has tons of autists. you can't possibly deny this unless you are one of them yourself.

one of the last tournaments i went to, just as one of many, many examples, this dude i was playing started screaming and threw his controller after each game he lost. this was during FRIENDLIES before the tourny. after the second time he did it, i said i'm not playing any more if he's gonna act like that, so he got up and left to sperg on someone else's set up.

that behavior isnt uncommon. smash just has fucking retards in it. PM players are probably the worst about it, followed by 4.
