Was it any good?

Was it any good?

Yea it was alright

It was shlock, but semi-enjoyable if you don't have inflated standards.

Orcs were the only cool part the humans literally make the movie un fucking watchable due to shitty acting and using real people instead of just full CGI like they did with Orcs

Also Garona is fucking boring.

Was better than I expected, it had some kinda goofy charm to it.

Don't know why they cut Grom's talking scene about why he drank the cool aid

See. Humans being real mixed with CGI just makes the movie look like a high quality porno.

This so much, everything involving the Orcs was okay, anything human was pretty much a borefest.
The Gul'dan fight was actually the best part of the movie.

No it was pretty bad but it was enjoyable, even more so if you're a fan of Warcraft or WoW.

It got kinda fucked in editing so maybe it could have been better. An extended directors cut would be nice.

It was a cringe tier shitshow with the visuals and budget of a youtube real life machinima

obvious money laundering scheme

you can tell all of the money went elsewhere

Solid 5-6/10

idk i didn't see it

it wasnt terrible but it wasnt amazing either. I enjoyed it. the fight scenes were good and the acting was meh.

If you are a fan of Warcraft it's a dream come true, they got the feel of Warcraft down perfectly.

I see why the normies and Cred Forums guys didn't like it though.

Movie based on 2 would have been better. More better shit going on.

I don't know why but I found the humans' grand strategy of "just give every other footman a huge gun" fucking hilarious.

It was literally the most "okay" movie I've ever watched. It's something you'd expect to find on TV when flipping through channels and casually watch it and then forget about it later.
Most of the huge negative reviews cried that the Fel was somehow equal to Sauron from LotR, and others claimed nothing was ever explained.

To me the huge problems with the film were the overall changes to the original lore, like Gul'dan going hulk status (the lack of the shadow council), Lothar drama with his son was bleehh, and then the infernal not being a huge ball of green fucking fire.

tl;dr they should've started with WC3 instead with the more popular characters in the franchise.

I would have enjoyed it a lot more if they didn't retcon it so fucking much. I have no idea why Blizzard hates old Warcraft lore so much but they really, really fucking hate Draenor lore.

I've never forgiven them for what they did to Arthas. Literally WC3 Arthas
>pulls out Frostmourne and is like I'll sacrifice my best friend fuck him
>gets super corrupted but is COMPLETELY okay with it
>regains his sanity when Ner'zhul becomes weak
>literally goes fuck everyone I'm still evil
>merges
cough*
>MERGES HIS FUCKING PERSONALITY
I'm not sure this is getting through to blizzard

>merges with Ner'Zhul and they become and entirely new entity that is neither Arthas nor Ner'Zhul

Then blizzard fucking retcons everything and is like' Arthas secretly regrets shit' and takes over control of the Lich Kings body by becoming the 'dominant' spirit.
Like damn. Just fuck me up senpai

Not to mention everything they did to Illidan and team outlands in TBC

I don't think they merged and became something different. The quests in wow seem to state that ner'zul took over Arthas almost completely, with only a shred of him left.

Also, even looking at the movie from a standpoint of not playing the game, it's a bad movie. Everything is super fucking rushed. They try and do a lord of the Rings style adventure part way through but only dedicate 15 fucking minutes to it, even though it's shown that teleportation exists. There is no fucking reason given why medivh is corrupted.

Also
>were surrounded!
>garona! Take this blade and kill me with it!
>that means at least you will survive and not be seen as a traitor!

Fucking what? King Llane had openly distrusted her in the beginning, and had no reason to give a shit about her.

I love the lore, but evendors when I disconnect it from the games, it's fucking terrible writing.

>retcon

It's it's own separate universe, it doesn't retcon anything, it's not canon to the games in anyway.

it was fine. honestly better than i expected.

my main gripes revolve around khadgar, garona, and the shadow council.
seeing his dad get his shit wrecked by garona is a huge part of varian's character.

>Duncan Jones gave an early showing to David Bowie
>He died soon after

Movie was so shit it put David fucking Bowie 6 feet under
