Reassembly and Majesty 2 are my top comfy games right now.

Particularly Reassembly. I've spent 10 hours just designing and testing ships and hardly noticed time passing. Plus the music is just so soothing.

Harvest Moon

Animal Crossing Population Growing

wtf is dawn of discovery?

Are americunts too retarded to understand what "anno" means? It's baffling.

Pharaoh

ETS2

>comfortfags

Toss up between Terraria/Minecraft, base in the snow biomes

I've never experienced snow before but all the pictures of Canada make it look like a nice place to live

Age of Empires
Age of Empires 2
Rise of Nations
Rome Total War

Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit

We didn't name it.

Snow fucking sucks ass.

It's cold, it's wet, it's made out of dust, and it can fuck shit up. The only good part is already being inside and saying "fuck that".

Minecraft.
Something just feels good about it

-WoW: almost every location was nice and comfy. yes Im a vanilla fag

-Gothic 1+2 are comfy too
-Archeage

Probably Stardew Valley.

The Trails series.

>Implying there is a comfier game than Stronghold.
youtube.com/watch?v=pP3D8bkLfAI

I don't play it anymore but have to agree with this. I'd just watch out my windows when it started raining, and it sounded nice on the roof.

I remember downloading some Myst mod that let you create your own worlds and would just make ones with 24/7 weather effects

Earthbound/Mother 2 is pretty damn comfy.

First computer ever, first game stronghold.

Playing stronghold when friends wouldn't play out with me.

Playing it on a fat monitor, cream colored old PC. Playing it temporarily whilst it rained in my sisters bedroom.

>anno 1404

What version of Minecraft should I play if I've never played it before? I see people here saying the game is shit now.

Some people find it stressful but I love cross-referencing info and stamping papers, wrapped in a blanket, drinking hot chocolate

Some really beta version? Like, pre- hunger and all that?

ETS2.

also, anyone tried American Truck Simulator? is it improved?

Old school fucking Runescape servers

Its posts like this that remind me of how shit this fucking board is.

I wish I still had the photos of the 2014-15 winter(I think it was that one) where the bigger snow drifts were literally 10 feet high and my car was buried fully in snow on a DAILY BASIS

>prs06 was almost 4 years ago

>implying the original Majesty isn't superior in every way
I'M MELTING

Is this game like Sim City but medieval? Is it any good and what's the gimmick, if any?

Anno 1602

maximum comfy

The comfiest part of snow is staying inside at watching it out of your window.

Being outside of it is kind of hell in a storm, especially when you don't have snow gear.

Shit turns into freezing cold water if it gets stuck in you clothing, the wind makes your face feel like it's going to peel off.

But if you are fully prepared and it's lightly snowing it's enjoyable to lay down in it and watch it fall.

Think logistics management with tall ships and arabs.

not much time to feel comfy in this game

Have to go with this The only nice thing about snow is when you're inside with a cup of hot beverage looking outside.

>being german

Well, yes. Just like rainy days are comf af, but only if you're bundled up and warm inside and not getting rained on outside

Sometimes I think comfyness is just an alternate form of schadenfreude

3D Tropico, of course

alright anakin calm down

Couldn't you just mod out the shitty hunger system?
I also heard setting the game to Peaceful difficulty eliminates the hunger system. But that also means that there aren't any enemies to fight.

It is if you like to drive around in US. I enjoy it, and ETS is my gulity pleasure.

I really wish interiors weren't a separate area and that you could actually look out through windows

Why is space so comfy
Even things like X, SoSE or Star Wolves I find comfy, just drifting around in your spaceship(s), looking at the little windows, enjoying the cold void of space.

There need to be more space games that focus on how comfy it can be to be isolated like that. Semi self-sufficient small carriers like Star Wolves are a huge plus.

The Earth didn't exist in 1404

>took the CD
>installed
>doesn't even start

fuck this

Anno 1404 is up there
Dorf Fort is pretty comfy once your fort is stable

The Commandos games are really comfy in the missions where you aren't pressed by time. For example Saint Avold in Commandos 3.

gog.com is a blessing

My very first game was Caesar 3 on Windows 95 when I was a kid.

Shit was cash.

Beta 1.7.3 was the last good version.

They're not, they're just confused by dates older than their country.

>CAN'T PLACE THAT THERE M'LORD

jungle troll tribes in warcraft 3

that was sand, man

anakin didn't like sand

My nigger
I miss comfy old survival games like that before the 'genre' got popular and it turned into cancerous shit.

Literally objectively wrong. Wear proper clothing and it's comfy to be outside when it's raining or snowing. Then you can enjoy a second dose of comfyness when you go inside and have a hot shower and dry off. And then there's lingering comfyness watching things from inside with a hot drink.

That's like a triple dose of comfy potential.

I don't want to spend money on a game I already have

so pirate the gog release

Civ IV

I don't want to go to prison

make sure to go incognito and you'll be fine

For me its clearly Pharaoh. Good memories.

>asks me to play those hard missions for him
>cant be bothered
>"please, will do anything for you while you play it"
>have him suck my dick while playing it
>he got speed on lowest setting so everything takes forever
>only getting done a single mission per day
>he cant complete any of them
>getting blowjobs pretty much every day for playing pharaoh for him
>last mission
>only completing it for him if I can fuck him
>ending up fucking him doggystyle, bent over his desk
>finishing game for him with awkward silence
>never do shit again
Good memories.

what dose anno mean? everytime I hear it I just picture a japanese girl asking a question

Risen

just use a proxy lol

anno means 'year' in latin
like anno 2016 means the year 2016
anno MMXVI desu

I forgot the excact meaning but basicly it's just a fancy way to say "year".

Yeah risen (and all other piranha bytes games) are pretty comfy.

Nothing fun about that.

Dungeon Keeper 2 is definitely up there.

...

Majesty 2 is nut-bustingly difficult. It's the exact opposite of a comfy game; it's all about surviving waves of enemies until you can start pushing out and eventually win.

There's a map near the start of the game where you have to defend against a Dragon. Most people can't tolerate it and just quit.

...

>Never even finished the campaign

...

Morrowind with graphics extension and Tamriel Rebuilt is the ultimate comfy experience.
I have more desktop background tier screenshots if anyone is interested

...

...

Holy shit what a shitty town layout

>what dose anno mean?
Its latin for "year". It comes from the phrase of "anno Domini nostri Iesu Christi", "The year of our Lord Jesus Christ", meaning that it has been AFTER the birth of Jesus Christ. It's also the word that gave us words like "annual" (yearly), and where the abbreviation AD (anno Domini - "Of Our Lord", meaning after the Birth of Jesus Christ) comes from. You know, in opposition to BC (before Christ).

I said wear proper clothes user. That includes proper footwear. Anyway, that shit sounds exciting. Have you ever been caught outside in a torrential downpour? One that's so bad that there's no way you could have avoided it. That shit's exciting.

Tattoine is comfy in any movie but that little retard never shut the fuck up.Jar Jar is a jackass too but otherwise I like TPM, AoTC is way better and I can't put my finger on it but I love RoTS.

Maybe because I played the fuck outta the demo disc for Battlefront 2 that came with DVD and fell in love.

I never got around to play Risen 2, I heard it's shit, but it looks comfy. Should I play it?

Anno series or Banished?

Kwaan seems comfy as fuck.
I might get it, but it also revolves around multiplayer.
Someone knows if the game is dead?

No idea. I haven't played 2 or 3. I tried the demo for 2 and loathed the combat. 1 never had amazing combat but it was serviceable, they straight fucked their own shit up in 2 so I'm probably never going to bother trying the full version of 2.

Have you played 3, if so, any good?

Proteus was pretty comfy and invoked some emotion in me. Not much replay value though.

No, I haven't, but I heard it's even worse then 2, the story makes no sense, feels like a bad witcher clone and you play as Patty's cousin

Change GTA 5 to 4 because bowling/hanging out is way more comfy and 4 had so much more detail than 5.

I BOWL LIKE AN ANGEL, Roman never called me I called him.

I have doubts about the veracity of some of this post.

Damn, guess I won't bother. I had heard bad things as well but hadn't looked too closely. Witcher 3 has probably filled my 3rd person RPG fill just fine, honestly.

Is it the music that makes this game so comfy or is it the quests?

Tropico 4 is pretty comfy at the beginning, make a huge farming island is pretty fun.

A shame it only had 8 voice actors

that's just amiibo shit and a free weed cleanup

youtube.com/watch?v=gyEmLptNL70

It'll probably be fairly small. He should just turn over the entire base code to modders at this stage. He obviously doesn't need to work another day in his life now, and that would be a better alternative than hiring rajesh to string along updates before a lackluster multiplayer mode.

Beta 1.7.3 is the last version where the game is still focused on its strength as a building game that is hostile to the player. After that it takes a rather unsuccessful jab at being an adventure game and gives you an endpoint to work towards but in doing so takes away some of the magic of making your own in-game long-term goals. Your aspirations of building a kingdom with a village, farms and a great big keep in the middle get pushed aside to fit the adventure Mojang want you to follow. Although some people prefer how much faster the game plays now, the feel of the game has changed a lot since many players were introduced to Minecraft. It could just be down to personal preference, I'd say go with 1.7.3 and check out later versions when you've exhausted it.

I'm thinking about doing a playthrough in Fallout: New Vegas where I just live out my life, maybe become a farmer. Don't think I'd level very well, but it'd be nice.

>maybe download a mod that makes random events happen

Just play FNV RP on Gmod :^)

Now why on earth would interacting with other people be comfy?

Just don't take it too seriously and you can have fun

stalker

Risen is the comfiest game there is. I would kill for a city building game in the Risen setting, with the same excellent music and atmosphere. Closest you can get is Banished, but it's barebones as fuck.

Doing the Inquisition questline is so damn comfy, that monastery is the best place in the game when you are captured. No danger, just training and living normal recruit lives.

Legend of Mana is still very comfy.

man, I still play Zeus, it's just too comfy, I get lost just looking at how my town functions

Forgot picture.

What would be some good medieval fantasy city building games?

I've tried the anno series and it sucked, I didn't like stronghold very much...

Basically, I'm looking for a good Dwarf Fortress or Gnomoria clone (maybe even in 3D), perhaps something with humans, knights, wizards and dragons... that kind of stuff.

Doesn't need to look super awesome either, I'm fine with older graphics as long as the atmosphere is good.

Megaman Legends. It has that same sort of old Capcom feel that's also felt in the Battle Network games, the colors and the music, everything about it.

New Capcom, not so much.

How the fuck did they make the graphics look worse than in pharaoh and that chinese setting game? Maybe it's something wrong with colors I don't know.

Yeah, the world was pretty damn dark and dangerous so being inside one of these settlements gave a true sense of comfort.
Even the bandit camp or whatever the fuck its name was worked

I fucked around so much in that game just because it felt good to be in the world
>tfw you can aggro that entire camp, jump on certain objects and their behavior goes crazy slashing eachother trying to get to you

The game has an HD edition on steam, but my experience with old games and their HD editions has been somewhat tainted by the Age of Empire HD scam... still, might be worth a try.

Also, which Stronghold game would be the best/least buggy?
I remember that I tried the one in 3D and that was bugged to all hell, so I formed my opinion on the series based on that. Are the other Stronghold games better?

From what I see, RimWorld is Sci-Fi in Space, not medieval and/or fantasy (or whatever it is that has your typical knights, bandits, castles, wizards and dwarves).

Might get me banned ;_;

This is an interesting post as it looks a lot like what would happen if someone made a Cred Forums shit-posting robot.

You sure showed me.

I think the Sims games are the comfiest, but here is Anno 2070 instead.

Emulate it then. PPSSPP is one of the best emulators made.

I believe Legends 3 could have been a beautiful game, I could imagine it looking somewhat like Ape Escape 3.

Looking at this makes me feel like my eyes are not able to focus, wouldn't ever play.

...

HD is good, it just adds widescreen and high resolutions. You can slo try the second one, it's made by russins as far as I know. Still a good game but somewhat boring and worse than the first one.

also, check out The Guild 2 on steam

It's okay friendo. I'm going through a rough patch as well and The Beatles are always comforting to me.

Hope things get better for you.

Oh and stronghold 1 and crusader hd are the only good ones. S1 has campaign which is ok, S2 great skirmishes. There's also extreme version which adds hundreds of units at the same time but it breaks the balance and lags even on good pcs.

Are you a bot?

Sounds like you just have eye problems buddy.

Nah, It's the damn exaggerated blur

But europa 1400 the guild is so much better. It's ugly allright but it's better as a game.

Think about how many times your pillow would fall over the edge and how much of a pain in the arse it would be to retrieve. Shape of the room claustrophobic. Not comfy.

No one has mentioned Fable yet?

I think it's a great game to sit down with when you've got time, no rushing, able to be nice or nasty, but all very cartoon and silly.

>The vanishing of Ethan Carter

heh, more like the vanishing of proper gameplay

That shit must be hot as balls in the summer

I really hope you didn't type this out because it makes zero sense.

Donky Kong games I really like primates and I love Planet of The Apes.

just google "horse girl eating whipped cream"

Surprisingly this, there are times when it's raining, or storming and you're sitting with some loners, listening to one of them play the guitar and you feel like you're worlds away from your actual life, in a world where every day is different, a world where boredom is a luxury and every day is a struggle to survive. I kinda wish I could be a loner in STALKER, even if I would probably get murdered by mutants or bandits, it feels like a far better existence than the one I currently have.

2070 has some HORRIBLE bloom issues, gives it a perpetually hazy look even on the eco friendly cities.

Easy enough to fix though.

Don't listen to these pussies, snow is awesome, it crunches under your feet once it hardens a bit, or it makes a cool snow-packing sound when it's fluffy, you can throw it at people and make suggestive statues.

As a Canadian, let me tell you you're better off just enjoying it in pictures/video games. It looks pretty but once you're actually in it you can't wait for it to melt away because it makes your daily life 10 times harder than it already is.

I'm russina and I can confirm this.

The Hunter, nice and relaxing huntan simulator .. unless you hunt wild boars which runs for the hills if you so much as fart

Russian I mean. Oh well. Russina is good too I guess.

Isn't this game pay 2 hunt properly though?

I'm always shit at city building/management games. The only exception is Anno 1404 (which is quite comfy), but I suspect that's either because it's casual in comparison or because the interface makes it clear what you should expand next, which makes it fairly linear imo.

That's not true, after Notch got pushed out by public opinion the game returned to building in a big way.

it is, but that didn't stop me to waste a fortune on it

I don't like Final Fantasy much, but I did like Tactics A2. I think the DS is my favorite system to this day because of all the fun and comfy games.

Enjoy never forcing your human penis inside her soft, warm anthro mouth and releasing your sticky white seed deep inside her throat because she isn't real

Older RTS games like Age of Empires, Rise of Nations, Empire Earth are the ultimate comf for me

Shame it only had two islands.
I always ended up building similar shit each time

pcgamingwiki.com/
feel free to help yourself

shame it has no fucking sequel and will never get one

It's a gothic thing, they had shit hidden on the roofs in 2 too

;_;

It really lacked endgame, which is such a shame for such a great premise and framework.

Thanks user. We'll pull through.

Skyrim or The Sims 2, both were really comfy.

Havent you heard anons? There is a sequel, Evil Genius Online! Its a great facebook game, official sequel, why arent you happy and playing it right now?

>MORNING M'LORD

I can't take this shit.

>skyrim

wat

comfiest games for me are DayZ and Oblivion, probably.

godam jorji is the illest motherfucker

what is this exactly? Reminds me of that loli dungeon game that user was making.

Which one should I play, 1 or 2?

Is Crusader a different game or just an expansion?

I always hear people saying that 3 is shit but why?

Skyrim was comfy, walking around in the snowy forests at night in the north of the game or going deep into the Dwarven ruins, especially with the soundtrack.

youtube.com/watch?v=EpIR61u1wJU

Evil Genius, you build a base, manage your minions, try to take over the world, kill hostile agents or torture them, you can build traps to take care of them as well.
youtube.com/watch?v=MVKkQdmX7e8

cities skylines

what map

Get War for the Overworld! Fantastic spiritual sequel, maximum comfy!

ETS2 probably

Cred Forums might not play many racing games, but this was ubermensch comfy

TXR 3 was good, but this had the soundtrack and sense of speed that was spot on.

youtube.com/watch?v=cfZIvfAypak

>mixing bowl torture machine
holy kek, this game looks pretty rad.

Dawn of Discovery looks like a better version of Banished.
Someone fill me in

Looks interesting, is there a demo or will I have to pirate it to try it?

its fucking Anno 1404 you dingus

Best HM/RF coming through

can you build cities near/in deserts in that game?

Any tycoon or management game...

RCT
Theme Hospital
Cities Skylines
Prison Architect
Factorio

etc

No demo and I'm not sure if the cracked copies have the latest version. And it is important to play the updated version because it fixed basically all of the launch problems.

Was on sale at Humble for $20, glad I took the plune.

this is pretty jammin, I think I might have to get it.

yeah, its has some real rad shit.
torturing has a radius of buff for your minions so its good to catch random shitty agents then mix them up in the mess hall to help all the eating minions. they have stats like endurance, attention, loyalty, health, intelligence. you gotta keep them high, for instance minion with low loyalty will try escaping your organization, you should put them into prison and torture them, once you let them go they will be fine, every minion who sees the one whos tortured will get their loyalty fixed too. same stats applies for enemies, agents with low loyalty will try abandoning their mission and your island.

Probably animal crossing. Or Civ V is pretty comfy.

Master of Orion is 100% maximum comfy.

...

Old school Runescape or vanilla Wow for maximum comfy

Endless Legend can be comfy.

yes, but i don't know if there are desert maps in the vanilla game

on steam workshop there are almost 100k files, and almost 20k custom maps

youtu.be/uORg6Amcmmo

Ignoring added in music, why wouldnt you want to race Porsches down the Wangan at 200+mph?

alright, I'm won over. I think I'll try it out, maybe get some snacks and play it next weekend if I end up really liking it.

Am I just extremely blind or is Transport Tycoon not on this list?

If it isn't, this is a garbage list.

>when winter rolls in and everything just shuts down for a few turns

Rune Factory 1's house, Rune Factory: Tides town, and Rune Factory 4's entire fall season.

Honorable mention to riding around The Crew, Old Maplestory, and any Animal Crossing.

user please, only 46? you can do better!

make sure to get mods and download bonus cd from net (it has one more henchman)
i find the game a lot more fun with more minions.
it can get really tedious with little minions at higher difficulties. its not a perfect game, sometimes boring but its one of a kind. humor and design are awesome.

also its good to read a guide before you shrek yourself, for instance recruiting Red Ivan as your henchman, if you dont keep him locked up in a small room and control him when hes free hes gonna both your enemies and base

2 is a better game of 1 but it runs bad and is buggy. The devs are updating it to fix the bugs and add Steam multiplayer in a few months so wait for that. Play 1 for now.

youtu.be/mi1M747Iw48?list=PL464383F7EBA0C19B

yeah

it's an excellent game and the best hunting game out there despite that

it isn't as bad as having a dragon attack you within the first minute and have it HANG AROUND.

At least in Majesty 1, the damned dragon left after it's first raid and gave you time to build up, in 2 the fucker shows up every 2 minutes from the mission start, requiring you to manipulate it's AI with towers to hopefully tank it.

...

Will I be able to do anything without spending a cent?

Holy shit you're right.

All the fucking Tycoon games are in there (even the garbage one) yet, not a single instance of TT.

You have good taste.

>I would rather have some adventure instead of placing blocks forever with no purpose
fuck off, that's what makes minecraft what it is.

The early levels, with the wood forts, were the comfiest.

This! Since 16 i played this game im 28 : |

No, you have to at least buy a subscription to hunt the animals, and then you have to buy the guns you like. I don't like how jewish it is but the game is good enough that I bought a sub and a bunch of guns totaling 70 euro back in 2014. It was a one time though, I played about 100 hours and I wouldn't play it long enough again to justify buying another sub.

Well I think you can hunt one of the deer species for free.

ATS has the potential to be the comfiest game of all time once they get more states to explore created.

That, and the re-scale they're currently doing. My biggest gripe with ATS over ETS2 is that the world was scaled smaller than ETS2 and it made long hauls impossible. Once they finish the re-scale it should be great.

didn't Stronghold Legends get a remake recently? looks alright, even if there's some silly stuff like werewolf catapults and whatnot.

They ever patch that shit DRM out?

Yeah nah fuck that noise.

best you can do is pay a fine if you do something really silly like downloading a torrent in some countrys.

Uplay is pretty shit but it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.

I don't think it has the limited installs thing anymore.

terrible advice, does nothing
just don't use torrents if you're tech illiterate and you'll befine.

>even if there's some silly stuff like werewolf catapults and whatnot
That's excellent!

I wanna get into some comfy classic city builders and I've heard the 'City Building' series is recommended.

Supposedly Zeus, Pharaoh, Emperor, and Caeser III are the best - in that order.

Is that correct?

My man

That mission was where the game decided to start kicking you in the balls nonstop.

Oh, that's that, a dragon attacking your base constantly isn't enough? Lets flood the player's base with flying snakes or whatever they were called because fuck you that's why.

This is one of the first games that came to mind. Civilization 2 and Anno 1602 were two of the first games I got when I got a computer, and the latter was very comfy.

youtube.com/watch?v=MiKxV3EiTkU

No.

Has Reassebly been updated lately? I played it for a few hours, but after a while it started to get boring just grinding for building space.

so the cuck can watch someone fuck his wife

Xenoblade has the comfiest enviornments

Pharaoh > Emperor > Zeus > Caesar 3

St. Loren

But he's right. There's a grain of dirt or dust at the center of every rain drop and snowflake.

Age of Empires II, for sure. I used to play that for hours after school, while Raymond or Charlie Sheen fucked around on the TV in my periphery. I'd just let horrible CW shows play and not really pay attention.

The vast majority of its constituency is water. It's not 'made of' dust in any meaningful sense. 'Formed around' dust, yes.

I think you're being way too literal. I highly doubt that user believes it's 100% dust.

What are the comfiest Vita games ?

All that power used on those doors holy shit.

Persona 4
Rouge Legacy is better than expected.

Not comfy at all

The allure is there, but it gets old quick. You leave for the same reason you left last time. You can still definitely get a great kick out of it though, but expect it to wear off in a few months at most. It got to the point where I was flipping bonds on the GE and I got total dysphoria from messing with harvesting skills. Wasn't worth my time, I felt like a nobleman too good to level up a peasant's job. And that's when I knew I had to stop before I ruined the magic for myself.

Both Dragonfall and Hong Kong are comfy af, but imho Dragonfall had the comfier setting and Hong Kong the comfier characters(russky, jap, ork waifu). Both main plots were kinda "eh", though.

I love that track
The guitar reminds me of youtube.com/watch?v=Pz2ZpDB6pR0 in some parts

Man, Lionheart had some great music, too bad nobody played it

Annoooooo, etoooooooo?

Or this youtu.be/Bwfk-NzOS00?list=PLonJHZvVKbpaRFYFSeSwmNUlGqiSkbAPn

Don't listen to these niggers, just play it in its current form. Yeah there's a shitty vague "story" now and an actual way to """""win""""" but that shit doesn't matter unless you let it. Don't get an old, factually shittier version of the game just because some of these salty spitoons are nostalgic.

I say this as someone who'd do anything to play Minecraft for the first time again...

Stronghold kinda sucks though, at least 1
The answer to every problem is to just spam ludicrous numbers of eco buildings, and the weapons manufacturing takes such a long time that actively raising an army REQUIRES a far larger number of weapon manufacturers than is reasonable.

Hell in several of the combat missions if you don't build several fletchers immediately you're lucky to have a single archer by the end of the mission, it's that extreme

Lotro was pretty comfy before that whole "f2p" bullshit. It sucks now unfortunately.

It's the game playable or do I need 3GB for my graphic card and 98 GB of RAM?

>The devs are updating it to fix the bugs and add Steam multiplayer

source?

java is shit, so the more ram the better

1404 is pretty comfy

RDR

fireflyworlds.com/2016/08/17/new-steam-editions/

Stronghold Legends was already updated

Last night it got cold enough that I could turn on my space heater and make a cup of tea.

I'm going to enjoy this month of fall we get before winter rolls in and fucks it all up.

Loosely vidya related: youtube.com/watch?v=458wbeCd9Og

New minecraft is really boring and tedious though. Hunger and the magic system turned the game into nothing but an autism fest, and most of the new blocks aren't really very useful.

Though really anyome who wants to play Minecraft should just play Terraria instead.

wait, magic system? wtf?

Rare were masters of comfy.

youtube.com/watch?v=CKAc3nYEatw

cool thanks

Enchantments and shit

I saw this game on here, got it and played it but I'm already burned out of the same exact routine every single match.

> Lumber, Fish, Market, Houses, Cider, Chapel, Citizens, Tool chain, Linen Chain, buy honor from british guy, get orient buildings, spice chain, advance to patricians...

I could have spent some more time if literally every game wasn't exactly the same and the combat doesn't make up for it because there's 3 units.

>The only good part is already being inside and saying "fuck that".
That's what comfy means though.

Being in close proximity to something rough like the cold of winter, yet being in safety in your warm cottage.

Post comfy vidya songs

youtube.com/watch?v=bwcAjRCHSKA

the art direction in this game is ridiculously good

Try playing against real people/smarter AI and with different win conditions

It's not.
You're probably fine in playing in the latest version.
Haven't played in like 2 years now, but it was good then despite plenty of people on Cred Forums claiming it was bad now(then).

eve online, for 13 years now

it gets a lot harder with bigger cities and you have to manage dozens of trade routes and angry entitled nobles

>start the game
>play economics without objectives

there ya go, maximum comfy

Did you at least cheat/pirate to unlock all the decorations?

The replayability comes more from making a nice looking town than it does from managing the supply chains or finding the optimal setup.

There are some good mods (especially if you speak german) that give you a huge amount of options for building your town. IAAM mod is a good place to start but there are several mods that add even more on top of it.

do people really have trouble running skyrim with an enb?

I fucking hate having to set up farms. If they could at least remind us of the size of the fields for each product maybe I wouldn't have so much trouble.

ENB + 2k Textures + Filters + Gamebryo = Shit

diablo 2, act 1 in the rogue encampment when you first make a character

the music, the bonfire

comfy af

snow is the confiest thing as a kid in the south. It only happens a couple times a year, but its fucking awesome. You get school off to play outside doing fun things you cant do normally, like sledding down the big hills on golf courses or having snow ball fights. Then, once you're cold and wet you go inside, drink hot chocolate, and wrap yourself up in a warm blanket.

I want to play another game like Banished. Ye Olde Citybuilder with trade and no combat.

I wish I could go back user

I had no internet
and a big smile in my face
and excitement for what was lying ahead

Come on man, in 1404 there are only 3 different sizes for fields (3x4, 4x4, 2x3) and one of those sizes is only used by one building...

Heavy enbs run bad no matter how good your computer is. Skyrim graphics extender came out a few months ago and I can get better graphics than vanilla and keep 60fps. Not as good looking as ENB but I prefer my framerate.

Did they add more content to Banished?
I pirated it a long time ago and it was still too simple to actually have fun with it. I might buy it if it has actual content now.

yep youtube.com/watch?v=LY41Q1FYokQ

Blame Ubisoft

>Terraria
You got it

I can't fathom why all city builders feel the need to add some half-assed military system that always end up to be a fucking pain in the ass. Fuck, I want to build a city, not defend one.

Stop being a little bitch and dress correctly for the weather. Buy some damn boots

This is the first time I have ever seen someone mention the guild 2. Get the Renaissance expansion

Those games are not comfy they are stressful as fuck.

Excited for The Guild 3?

Yes
I might start playing the Guild 2 again because of this thread

Yes I fucking am

...

As always.

>that comfy soundtrack

snow is alright early on, but when 8 of your months are snow it gets pretty tiring

funnily enough i googled michigan snow and this picture of a duplex i lived in for a while came up

and then i forgot said picture

That filename made me think of Banished immediately

that's why rain is the true comfy if you have a proper sewer system around you that is

How do you people play this game so much? I liked it at first but I got bored after about 15 hours. Like... at first it seems really expansive but it turns out there's not actually that much you can do.

They're not worst they were made to be "comfy" kind of why they're doing it in civilisation 6

I wish Lionhead wasn't gone so we could potentially see a Fable 2 release on PC.

My 360 stopped working so I have no way of playing that game again.

While your family is getting sick and freezing to death.

Also,
>not letting your uncle die so your real family can thrive

Any comfy games for PS4 or playable on a mac besides minecraft?

fuck off.

it's the reason why people can put like 200 hours in SimCity without getting bored. They like to bould stuff, play around on how they can make a good-looking city, min-max, the difficutly of making something between mountains, etc

...

the longest journey, final fantasy 9, deus ex HR

Have any of you folks played sc4 and how would you compare them?

I've trouble getting invested into it as well. Traffic is interesting to try to engineer around, but there aren't any good tools for understanding how your citizens choose paths. Water and power management are complete non-challenges (except when you have to wait umpteen hours to build a new power plant); maybe that's for the best. What really drives me crazy is the whole unlock path. Even if you start with everything unlocked, some of that shit is just so monstrously expensive.

I think I'd rather just play a traffic management game.

We had a janky satellite, only got 6 channels. Missed out on that wonderful UPN programming.

SimSafari

Renowned Explorers

There is just not anything better then to watch them at the camp fire and plan for the next expeditions

I'd rather just hire mercenaries to protect the town if need be but I just want to build my fucking city, god damn.

mini ninjas

I've been interested in trying it out, what's the gameplay like? I enjoy strategy and management games a lot.

Nothing better then fishing villages, right?

stalker is just too much comfy, I cant play something this level of comfyness. Its just offputting

GUYS this game redefine the concept itself of comfyness HOLY F*CK

Zues is comfy as fuck with new features that I love like the "quests" with the gods coming down to help you and shit but Pharoah is fun as a traditional game which made massive improvements on Caesar III

It's fun. The the "combat" system is surprisingly complex and depending on the crew members you choose things change a lot. With the expansion the campfire stories sometimes can compleatly change how you play a character.

You should defenitly check it out

Stronghold crusader is the best one user.

ATS sucks ass, the map is way too small

not comfy at all

the same people from The Dutch Map are making a rescaling project for ATS, idk how that is coming along but it might be good news

best comfy game!

i bought this without understanding that my pc couldnt run it

Yeah Beyond Good and Evil is comfy-core along with Risen, Fable, B&W and Banished

The Long Dark.

>Collecting wood.
>Hunting for food.
>Fire place in the cabin.
>Nap-naps with my trusty rifle at my side.

Damn it that game makes me all comfy.

It's Pathologic, which is an interesting game and something that people should probably play if the concept seems interesting but it's hard to call it "fun"

Or, to be more specific, that image is of the Pathologic remake, which isn't out yet. The original has morrowind tier graphics.

>no blinds
>decide to have a lie in
>woken by scorching hot sun shining right into your fucking face

It's alright. Not as good, but the best game in the genre out since SC4, worth a pirate if not a purchase.

I'm not either of them but Skylines is the worthy successor to SC4 and does nothing but set the bar higher in every category you can imagine.

Infinifactory.

Are all the interiors still a loading screen away?
Ruined the whole game for me. So fucking stupid

>mall tycoon

I could never figure out where to start
