SMTIV was my first SMT a few months back. I really enjoyed it. But, so far, only done a Law route. I haven't replayed it, because I found out I can't skip cutscenes. As a huge FE fan, who wanted to play the series because of the crossover, this is a big deal for me. Is Final worth playing though?

Man this game has some YHVH tier atmosphere. One thing about 4 I didn't like was the start up was so slow, but in this you're right into the action and in the world. The characters are also likable even assholes like Gaston or pussies like Hallelujah. The music has also gotten better too.

Skill Affinity was a good idea, it really balances stuff out well. Oh and the changes made to Hama and Mudo are really cool, I'm using that on Nanashi, as well as the HP/MP drain move.

What game should I play to scratch that MegaTen itch before getting IVA? (I live in Europe and have no desire to hack my 3DS, so it could take a while) I don't want to play IV again, because the style and atmosphere is so similar in IVA and I'd be afraid of getting burned out on it.

I am having a tough time deciding between Strange Journey, Soul Hackers, SMT II, Nocturne and DeSu. Which one should I finish first? I'm not very far into any of them.

IVA gets easier the further through the game you go, it has top heavy difficulty.

Pretty sure the EO games are the hardest modern ATLUS games at the moment so play them if you want.

I beat Strange Journey yesterday and absolutely loved it despite the final boss in the Chaos route being complete bullshit.

Nocturne is a lot easier than Strange Journey, but still great.

Devil Survivor is good, but man that game can be bullshit at times.

The gameplay is average jrpg gameplay for it's time. It was nothing special and had shitty encounter rates.
