Where should the next game be placed?

And why is the answer the Summerset Isles and Valenwood?

Bethesda is going to casualize it even further and be completely unable to recreate the fantastic world found in the lore and instead create another cookie-cutter fantasy themepark.

This game me a massive boner

My prediction is that it will take place in Hammerfell, in order to focus on Redguards. I think having a humanoid race makes the most sense from a business/marketing perspective. I think Bethesda will go that route in order to maximize profits.

Where do I WANT it to take place? That would be Valenwood. I think the concepts of cities being made up of giant trees is fascinating, and I would love to see it actually done. I'm also a sucker for magical forests settings; after Oblivion and Skyrim I'm ready for a game that is truly enchanting.

So it wouldn't matter one bit where it's located. The trees would be rooted in Valenwood, there would be no cities of glass in Summerset Isles and everything would be worse.

Why do Khajit look like Mer under the Ohmes constellation?

Because they are mysterious astronaut cat-folk bound to the moons.

Honestly, at the rate that games get made, they could start doing two locations at a time. They've already made three games that don't even resemble the locations they claim to be from the 'official' map(pic related), Morrowind being an island, Cyrodil not having the jungles that define it, etc. They may as well have both of those locations, Hammerfell so that people can relate to the humanlike characters and Valenwood so there can actually be some interest in the locale. Make them right next to one another because the lore is already fuckhouse. Hell, add another, Argonions are badass and they live in a massive landsea/swamp. It's fucking baller, you get land, sea, and air(tall ass trees = air), which is different from the previous games where everything is so fucking samey the entire time.

Meant to add this pic

But Morrowind only took place on Vvardenfel?

It's gonna be either Summerset Isles or Hammerfell for KANGZ points. Nobody gives a shit about wood elves, kajhiit, argonians or anything non-human and fantastical, now every fantasy story has to be a rip-off of game of thrones. So either Summerset Isles or Daggerfall(unlikely since they've already done it) or Hammerfell to cash in on the controversy.

mfw expecting it to maul his fucking face any second

>Morrowind being an island
It was Vvardenfell, you dingus.

in arena khajiit looked pretty much like normal humans with facepaint, as you can see here. in daggerfall they looked like humans with some cat features, a tail. in morrowind they actually look like humanoid cats. i can only assume the developers got more ambitious as time went on and wanted to make them more distinctive from all the other human-looking races.

the need to explain the changing appearance of the khajiit lead to the lore that they have different forms under different phases of the moons. the "elf" khajiit is simply the lore version of the original arena design.

>posting furry porn

kys

here's the daggerfall design. you can see that arena corresponds roughly to the ohmes and daggerfall to the ohmes-raht.

>Bethesda still doesn't have an animation team worth a shit

But op the next game is a card game.

...

how did eso fuck the lore?

well the next game is skyrim remastered so kek

ESO didn't fuck up the lore.
It screwed over C0DA pretty hard.

>Where should the next game be placed?
Hammerfell

>Best biomes
>Best lore
>FUCKING FURRIES

FUCK

>There will never
>EVER
>E V E R
>be an Elder Scrolls game set in Akavir

But then it'd just be GTA

Wouldn't make much sense given how established Tamriel is. Akavir is interesting while it remains unvisited.

Since every TES game gets more casual with each game I don't give a fuck and won't even pirate it, there are already casuals complaining that vanilla Skyrim is too complicated

I just hope it's not set in Morrowind because it would be like shitting and disrespecting a great game with casual garbage

Akavir is pretty well-established too while having extreme room for creative freedom. We know there are four constantly-warring races, we know Nerevarine is taking a vacation there, and we know that it's the coolest fucking place outside of Black Marsh.

>a great game

The Nerevarine going to Akavir is just a rumor.
Like V being taken by Daedra.

Both could be either true or false.
My Nerevarine stayed at the House of Earthly Delights trading artifacts for lap dances until the island blew up.

Confirmed for not playing Morrowind.

;^)

>no khajiit that looks like this

>Oblivion is the comfiest elder scrolls r..right?

already an elder scrolls game there. I forget the name, but it is older and you play as a nig if im not mistaken

Elsweyr
Black Marsh
Summerset

That is it.

Would like to see a game set in the planes of Oblivion where you play as a daedra and expands on the lives of daedra and the like.

Sounds cool. Make it happen.

Some Khajiit still look just like wood elves. They just aren't much more rare.

a dlc would be a more feasible goal i think. Is there much lore variation for landscape in the oblivion planes, or all fire and lava buildings?

So I started ESO, which is my first Elder Scrolls game, and all the races mostly boil down to elves. Tall elves, short elves, green/blue elves, humans descended from elves. Then we have humans with lizard heads, humans with cat heads and ugly humans with tusks. With everyone having the same human body type, no unique beastly attributes like claws or something.

I work at Bethesda. Sea of Pearls. Sailing gimmick. Not crazy about it.

Screencap this.
