Any games with a good and advance bestiary?

Any games with a good and advance bestiary?
Pic related, it's like they drained all the enjoyment of old cRPG loot and put it in the bestiary.

Modernvanias

Pokemon

>3 lines describing
>where you can find it
a digitally created pokemon sound that sounds like it was taken from a horror movie.
Magnificent.

Metroidvania is such a fucking broad term I can call Rayman and Darksiders a Metroidvania.

>Pic related, it's like they drained all the enjoyment of old cRPG loot and put it in the bestiary.

???????????????????????

What do you mean? Item descriptions?
PoE has those.

The Witcher had a nice bestiary.

The Witcher 3 had a nice one. More Lore Info than stats though.

That's Pillars of Eternity you dunce, a game where a new weapon means more accuracy and that's it.

Total Warhammer

Witcher 3 and SMT4:Apoc

tfw reading this as "nice bestiality" and try to figure out the context

FFXII has a gigantic bestiary.

>most of it is rare game the majority of which are useless

>transformations happen outside is conscious control
>he has no memory of his deeds

>the lumberjack quest
>Little Red
>that quest where a gang of monsters try to assassinate you

hmm

Might be that the witcher that wrote the book doesn't know shit.

Alot of the bestiary descriptions seem to conflict what actually occur in the game.

e.g. it says all lesser vampires aren't intelligent and are only driven by a primal thirst, but numerous bruxa/that vampire that only ate drunks, can speak and reason.

Could be that some of the lore was copied from the book, but then devs decided not to honor the book since its writer is a hack and a gigantic fedora with inflated ego.

Soul Sacrifice Delta.

...

Serious Sam.

>gigantic fedora
What does that even mean in this context?

ff 12

You really consider OP a good bestiary? It says nothing about the creature origin, ecology or anything, its just some shitty stats that mean nothing.

Enter The Gungeon has a nice encyclopedia of all weapons, items, bosses and enemies.

Monster Girl Quest

the POE bestiary really was fucking neato.

jesus christ why did they make Thaos though. Was he literally just a passive-aggressive condemnation of all their kickstarter backers, demanding it keep GOING BACK TO HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE even though how IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE doesn't work?

>devs decided not to honor the book since they are hacks and gigantic fedoras with inflated ego.

fixed

Pikmin

Pikmin 2 Piklopedia has the GOAT bestiary

thats not a good example because its not complete, you need to kill it several times and then you get more stats and the origin

"being salty as sapkowski"

*tips fedora*

This was my shit.

Final fantasy ripped off dnd a lot, but ff5 introduced crazy monsters like fairy orcs and the deep trench abominations.
