And this game was actually fantastic. A pure video game, just a bit unpolished.
Don't know one person that played it and didn't love it. Fun characters, fun music, fun, very weird and unique gameplay, fun story.
A game that everyone should play at some point.
It's also not a jRPG.

Lacks the one hit kills from Bushido Blade but makes up for it by being a Samurai life simulator. Pretty fun.
Why play this game when sword of the samurai exists?
The cover is just about the only good thing about it.
the developers went on to make senran kagura
Suda's game before he made Killer7
pretty high concept, but also pretty goofy
kind of comparable to Deadly Premonition in terms of its storytelling and execution; lots of unintended laughs, but serious enough that its creepy atmosphere was still effective
Jokes aside, this is a pretty good b-movie horror game. Too bad the prices are nuts for it now cuz back when it came out it was only $20 bucks.
Picked this up in a bargain bin as a kid
Very neat game, loved the hub world aspect
Solving your own murder was a cool concept, and Murdered: Soul Suspect always felt corny in comparison

I DON'T WANNA WASTE MY TIME
How's the second?
both games are on PC/ steam for pretty cheap (during sales)
i used to collect ps2 games from ebay
the one in the middle with the three people is a squad based firefighting game
>Sakurasaka Shouboutai
Hungry Ghosts in the top right of this pic is like a King's Field horror game
I'm still pissed off that this game's sequel got such a limited release in PAL regions
for some retarded reason it was only released in Italy or some shit
>jap versions of D and D2
nice
why did you stop collecting?
Enemy Zero is a horror game with invisible enemies. You have to listen for their presence and use fancy gun to kill them when they are practically breathing down your neck
earlier this year when I realized that I wasn't playing 90% of my collection.
forgot pic
I don't think i'd be able to get into the gameplay, but HG's aesthetic is incredible.
Not as good, but it's also much cheaper.
>Tinkle Land or whatever the name
Awwww shieeeeeet man
game is so good
yeah great game. negotiating with people can get stressful.
The second turns into a neat point and click game
pretty much every game for the saturn except for stuff like nights

>word of the samurai
you mean the dos game or the sequel to Kengo? I never got to play the sequel, didn't come out in the states
Stop messing around, Jensen.
...
Still remember playing it with my family
Nostalgia feels bad
just looked it up, there's a term for sad-nostalgia, it's called "Saudade"
>tfw trying to emulate the sequel, Raw Danger
Its easily the worst PS2 game to emulate because it works but everytime a disaster happens around you the game shits the bed, and its 90% of the time.
I dont know what kind of engine they used for that game.
the sequel
