Water can be trapped in some places that could dry for weeks. The only thing that need to be cleaned are radiators and sockets, everything else doesn't really matter unless your OCD kicks in.

PCBs are soldered using flux and cleaned using DI water. Every component is designed to withstand water, it's when they have electricity running through it along with water that shorts are formed and things get fucked.

The only thing water damages is mechanical components like buttons and knobs or components not meant to be washed like displays, and even then many of those are sealed.

LITERALLY the only issue with that is the amount of paste he added and how he added it and how hje spread/smudged it. However, using plastic card to smudge paste is the only proper way to go because if you do it like this retard:
